This is half a Pic from a holster maker on Facebook, showing off two small pistol holsters. FB_IMG_1575419614087_1.jpg

Anyone know what this endearing little firearm is?

Damn autocorrect

Looks like a Derringer Guardian. Pedersoli makes a replica that has a design reminiscent of the famous “X Pert Single Shot” produced by Hopkins & Allen in the 1870 or the several European models also known as the “System Flobert Single Shot”. The replica steel gun shoots only with the 209 primer, insulated by a closing flange that prevents any metal chips escaping and protects the shooter’s hand. The Derringer Guardian is equipped with an extractor, sight and ramrod screwed to the base. With only the 209 primer, shots can hit the target out to 10 meters about (11yards). From info on another site, not me.

Maybe a Flobert pistol.

Thanks guys! That's going on the list, I love stuff like that and that would be an absolutely cracking little plinker.

Just watched a YouTube video of a fellow shooting it with 6gr of 4F goex down the muzzle capped with an airgun pellet. Not entirely safe but fun.
