There’s very little data out there for these. I got what I could from Barnes. Hodgdon lists a 62gr Tipped Scirocco but the bullet is considerably shorter than the Tipped Barnes bullet.

I’ve got RE15, 8208 XBR, CFE223, and ARCOMP, and was hoping to use one of the first two if possible

Just seeing what’s out there. Thanks

I just used the Barnes data and found them to work quite well. The Barnes data may not list very many different powders but do include some of the powders commonly available. They keyhole in my 700 Rem but do great in several AR rifles with faster twists.

edit: Several of those powders you have are listed in the Barnes load data website. Also not that they recommend twist of 1:9 or shorter.

I loaded them years ago using Barnes data, and Ramshot data.

I gave up. I wasn't willing to dump the money into development. Several loads shot well at 100yds, but for reasons I don't understand at 200 they were awful. The rifle was 1:9 16" but not evidence of tumbling.

I’ve got plans to shoot it from either a 1:8 twist or a 1:7.5 twist barrel.

I know the solid copper bullet seals differently in the barrel but I’ve been debating seating depth vs charge/case capacity and now I know they’re the same length as my 69gr TMK bullets, I’ve got a better idea of what will be or what won’t be a compressed load and that gives me more of an idea of where to start/stop as well

These aren’t cheap bullets, so I was hoping to keep load testing to an absolute minimum...but if I’ve got to buy more to test in order to do it safely then so be it
