So this thread is for anything unexplainable that you have witnessed.

To start, my great grandmother died when I was about 10. At the dinner in her home after the funeral, all the kids were outside playing and one of my uncles really weird girlfriends was out there reading palms.

When she got to me she told me that I wouldn’t find my true purpose in life until I was 40. She said that I would be married twice within a year and I would love both women until I died. But she saw no divorce.

Amy and I had plans to be married in Jamaica and we were buying our first home and moving into it before we left. We were told a week before closing that we had to be married to close on my GI loan. So we went to a justice of the peace in May and then had the full ceremony again in Jamaica in June. It didn’t hit me until about 5 years later while we were in a movie theatre. I sat forward and yelled Holy shit. The true purpose at 40 was right too.

I’ve always had dreams that come true exactly as I dreamed them. Talked to my dad about it when I was about 12 and he had the same thing. What always freaked me out was I knew what was happening for awhile and then I didn’t know what was coming after that.

Our house in Summerfield was haunted. A boy died there as a kid. We would hear the front door open and slam closed again but when we checked the door it was locked.

Then there was the time @Chdamn's Wife was using the restroom and one of the drawers in the vanity slid out and crashed into the wall and then fell to the floor without anyone touching it.

So what you got?

I saw a lady in old fashioned clothes walk across the top of a staircase in a relative's abandoned house. I looked up the stairs and she glided across the doorway at the top of the stairs. Nobody but my brother and I were there. My one and only ghost story.

My Grandmother was bedridden for about a year before she died at home. When Hospice called I made it there about 30 minutes before she passed. When I went in to see her I smelled Brylcreem. I had not smelled it for over 20 years ... my Grandpa used it everyday and that along with English Leather cologne was my last hard memory of him when he died of a heart attack. They were married over 50 years and I swear he came to get her when her time was up.

Chad had me shuffle cards and spread them on the card table. I told him a card to find. He would pass his hand over the cards and when it felt right he would flip over a card. He was right 4 out of 5 times. And the one time he missed it ended up being the card next to the one he had selected. It was pretty amazing and a little creepy.

The only other thing (other than the ones Chad mentioned) was a dream I had. I know it was a dream but it was a dream that felt so real. I had pneumonia and hadn’t slept in days. Once diagnosed they gave me meds and I was finally on the road to recovery.

The next day, I had fallen asleep and I dreamt that a butterfly landed on my knee. I knew 100% that the butterfly was really my grandfather that had passed about five years before. He flew around a bit and somehow I knew he was telling me I was going to be okay.

I told him I missed him and then he flew off. I woke up from the dream feeling like my grandfather had just been there. I was certain of it. Logically, I know it was probably a combo of meds I was taking and the lack of sleep, but there is a part of me that feels like my grandfather was sending me a message.

Had more than a few feelings of "I should take a step for no reason" only to have something bad happen right where I had been standing. My brother was the same way. He said during his time in the Marines he had a little bit off a reputation for being the spooky one, getting bullet holes in the front and back of his uniform, but coming through without holes in himself. He was very troubled and saw/felt a lot of things he didn't know how to deal with.
It runs in the family.
The night my bro was going to die in the hospital, my cell phone had died while i was there with the family. I left my parents there to wait for his passing, got home and put my phone on the charger. Some time later i absolutely freaked out for no reason, remembered turned my phone back on, and it was still in the boot-up process when my dad called to tell me my brother had just passed. I tried to apologize for having my phone off when he tried to call, but he had gotten through on his first try, seconds after i had turned it back on. I told him to handle mom and I'd call the family. When I got to my aunt, she was waiting for the call and was able to tell me the minute he died, because she had felt it too. That was the night i gave up on denying that there's something else going on. We had some old school healers/shamans somewhere back in the tree, we know that much. I'd be fine if we didn't. It's weird and I don't like it.

I was standing in our kitchen years ago and saw something come moving by the window in front of me, stop, and then continue moving without picking up speed. Really freaked me out.

Few years later I woke up with an odd feeling, called a few friends to check on them and found out 2 friends of mine had broken up, the feeling went away after that. I ended up dating the girl of those 2 friends and after a few years we broke up, I was doing some work out of town and all the sudden felt like my stomach had turned upside down and like I was going to puke.... ex had just texted me...

I *think* that’s it but I’ll post up if I remember any others.

I’ve had some dreams that came true. When I have them I always feel pain during the dream. I dreamed getting slashed on my arm when I was working security about three weeks before it happened. I dreamed about my sisters miscarriage, she didn’t even know she was pregnant. I had told my mother about the dream the day after I had it. 2 weeks later it happened. The day my friend was killed in Iraq I woke up and felt this pressure all over. It built all day long. I knew something somewhere was wrong just not what it was, It kind of popped when I got the call the next day. I’ve had some of the same things happen to me that @DrScaryGuy said. Felt the need to move right before something falls on a job site, in a rush to leave the house and feel the need to stop take a minute only to get on the road and find a fresh car crash just where I would have been if I had run out.

One real ghost sighting that I know wasn’t my bad eyes playing tricks on me. I was working in this very old nursing home, the building built in the late 1800s.
3rd shift, fire watch rounds, in the basement I seen this guy coming out of the old boiler room carrying a tool box. I had just seen the maintenance guy asleep at his desk so I went after this guy trying to see who he was. I followed this dude up to the first floor where he went through the door out to the patient wing. He turned the corner to the nurses station, this entire time i was hollering “hey you” blah blah... Got to the nurses station where no less then 5 nurses told me no one walked by them, only way to get out of the building where we were was to walk past them. oldest nurse asked me to describe him, I did and she says “ oh you met Charlie!” And proceeds to tell me the story of Charlie the maintenance man who was killed in a boiler explosion in like 1899 or something like that. That place was creepy as hell and I experienced a bunch of other little stuff there, but my scientific sided brain will always explain it away like wind shutting a door, stuff like that.

At the Thanksgiving table 4 months after my Grandfather died we were all dumbstruck.....with 15 of us all gathered around the table and as the blessing ended a music box inside the China cabinet staring playing....I'll be loving you..Always. I was 21 years old and I'll never forget the looks on the faces of my Mother and her brother and sisters along with my Grandmother.

Shouldn't we be sitting by a campfire, sipping coffee?

Among many others, I'll share this one. My mother was a strong woman. During her funeral at the funeral home, the power temporarily went out for a minute or two and then came back on. It was not storming or even raining. My wife and I joked it was my mom. Then outside as we were getting in the limo, a butterfly caught my eye as it flew toward me. I paused and put out a hand. It landed on my hand and stayed a while. Then it went flying off. My wife saw it and said, that was my mom too.

My sister died at 20 years old in 1994. She just fell asleep in her dorm room at college and didn't wake up. To autopsies turned up nothing.

Three nights after she died 11 family members (myself included) had exactly the same dream. I'll describe it from my point of view.

I was laying asleep in a white bed with white linens. The room was all white. Drapes, walls, trim, etc. I sat up in that bed only to see her walking toward me. She sat down on the edge of the bed. She was smiling. We had a short conversation and she explained to me that she was fine, and actually quite happy where she was.

10 others described the exact same scene in a dream, right down to what she was wearing.

Also, at the graveside ceremony, the exact moment it was over, a rainbow appeared. Mind you there was no rain anywhere. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. 150 of us stood there silent looking at it. To this day, my parents' house has rainbows all over it.

Well, let’s see. I’m going to be here a while I guess. Thankfully its my last night of vacation and I can sleep late.

I was a teenager working in a hotel that is renown for being haunted. It was a state park and had a hotel that used to operate for three seasons and let’s just say some big men, whom I had met, carrying guns had experiences that they wouldn’t talk about and eventually the State had building exorcised.

One morning I was tasked with helping the housekeeping department. I was sent to go get the towels and sheets out of the rooms that had checked out so they could wash them as they were running short due to theft. It was mid July. I went into one room that had a notorious history. It had “leaded glass“ kind of like stained glass Windows with pieces of glass soldered or glued into two large panes that would close and have a turn handle / latch to secure them. I closed the windows, turned on the room AC, and took the sheets off the bed. I turned around and the windows were wide open. I said, “this won’t work” and closed the windows. Went into the bathroom and got the towels. Came out and there was a black cloud of smoke billowing, not a puff I mean billowing, out of the air conditioner. I turned off the AC certain I was going to get shocked but didn’t. It had a weird oily smell and I opened the windows to get rid of it. The maint. Manager who ran an HVAC company could find a thing wrong with it.

Same place, I was vacuuming a dining room that was going to hold a small banquet. The room had a door to an area called the Tower which was the third story of a round stone tower attached to the building that the guy who built it had bought and had disassembled from a house in Germany and attached to his house. He lost his fortune in the Great Depression and allegedly hung himself there. A coworker / friend came in and wanted to go up there as it was also access to the attic to put some stuff away. He couldn’t get the door open. I tried the key and verified it was the right key, it would turn halfway clearing the pins but was if someone was holding the locking knob on the other side. I stopped, feeling foolish spoke to the door and said, “Mr. X ( who killed himself - I won’t invoke him) please let us in here because the president of the company is coming tomorrow and we are trying to clean some things up.“. I then made my mistake, I said, “If you do, while we are here John, my friend, will talk to you”. We stood there doing nothing and the door audibly went click. I put the key in and it opened. John made me go up there with him, hyperventilating, he threw the boxes and ran. I thought little of it and continued to vacuum the room until something ice cold touched me on my side. I jumped and it went away.

Same place, “Room 301” which was a suite of what was originally 301 and 302 but a plumbing break in 302 caused someone at some point to renovate and make a suite. In the back bed room there was a mirror I was always afraid to look into for fear I’d see someone there with me. Specifically, Mr. X who I envisioned as wearing 1800s clothes and a top hat. I’d be in there and eventually it would become oppressive and I would flee in fear, work done or not, feeling “something isn’t right” refusing to look at the mirror. A front desk clerk told me a mother and little girl came in and said they heard the hotel had several period decore based rooms and asked to see one. The clerk took them to that room and opened the door. The mother stopped, took in a breath and said, “something is not right with this room”. They went in and the little girl started pulling at her mom’s skirt and said frantically, “mommy, mommy. I don’t like it here mommy, and ran from the room.”.

We were on our honeymoon in Marietta, OH and stayed at the Lafeyette. They gave us the best penthouse suite. During the day it was OK but my new wife went to bed early and I was too afraid for some reason to stay in the TV room alone so I went to bed. I kept waking up thinking there was an angry man at the foot of the bed. In the morning I showered in the one bathroom while my wife used the other. The whole time, I felt like I was being watched, which according to a parapsychologist I talked to means you’re probably right. We were getting ready to leave, I was by the room door, stooped to pickup our luggage and the door slammed HARD. Even my wife heard it, but it left me with an odd feeling of did that really happen. I expected to hear someone outside like the maid just hit the door with their cart, but nothing. I opened the door and nothing. I tested the door and it latched solidly. Something hit the door HARD. I took the luggage to the car and saw a girl cleaning a room and asked if they get reports of ghosts. She said they’re not supposed to say a thing but they have a problem with doors slamming on people.

We were looking for our first house and met the realtor at one prospect. She came running out and was a ball of knots. We went in and she had every light on. The whole place felt, creepy, out of time, almost sleepy, except this one bedroom which was obviously a little girls bedroom. We went up to the second floor which needed renovation and had been subject to roof leaks by the look of the plaster. There was this crawl space attic and I stuck my head in there and in my mind’s eye I saw, and knew, there was a non human entity hiding at the far end that would appear to a child as another child but didn’t want us to know it was there. We left and I went into the family room which had a painted white brick fireplace. As I approached it I felt / saw this yellow cloud and it became difficult to breathe. I stopped and left. My wife says the fireplace felt awful like someone died there.

In our first house, I understand the local HS shop teacher owned it. It needed a lot of renovation, some of which at first was destructive. I often felt like there was a guy, short, with almost bald but short spikey white hair wearing round rim glasses following me, angry, at what we were doing. After a while, when things started to come together and improve, I still sensed him, but he was no longer angry and instead said “you’re OK, I trust you”.

When I was 16, I had a friend over for the night, Brian aka Chip he went by. I had a Ouija board and he had never used one. Stupidly, we got it out and started using it. It started slow and gave gibberish followed by words with misspellings and finally improved. If we took our fingers off the planchette it would revert a bit and then improve like a channel being opened. I forget what we asked it, but my parents were at a business dinner and weren’t due home for three hours. Suddenly it started going MO MO MO back and forth. Ask anything about my mom and it would fly to yes and go back to MO MO MO, ask about anything else, NO then MO MO MO, then said MOM, goodbye. (This is giving me the shivers). I put it back on the board and it said MOM, goodbye, and wouldn’t respond. 30 seconds later, three hours early my parents walked in the front door. Whatever it was, read my mind and knew I didn’t want my mother catching us using it, knew my parents were coming home, and warned me.@tanstaafl72555 was that a hyper intelligent entity?

The next time I picked up the board I got a shooting pain on my shoulder as soon as I picked it up. I dropped it. Several weeks later, it went in the box and went in the garbage hopper where it presumably got buried at a land fill. A fitting end to let the Mother slowly reclaim it. A word of note on that Ouija board. It belonged to a great aunt / uncle who fostered kids removed from their home. My uncle claimed he caught a kid using it in one room, that always felt creepy in their house using it trying to curse people. I would use it with my aunt and as we did this dreamy trance like state would overcome her and she would talk about “liking”the Ouija board. God only knows what prompted me to ask her about that. Same thing happened with an older neighbor who would frequently “babysit“ me that I used to take it over to play with. Who knows what unholy thing was attached to it.

My mother in law died several years ago. I woke up and sensed her by the side of the bed, and “saw” her in my minds eye standing there repeatedly saying ‘tell her I’m sorry”, meaning my wife. Long story that I‘m not going to go into here but it makes sense. We had heard she died and I thought, correctly, “my god, she killed herself”. I ignored her and went to sleep. Jan 19, 2014, my grandfather died. I woke up and he was by the side of the bed. We had a nice conversation. Spirit conversation is different in that whole thoughts get communicated at once. You can parse it out into words but it’s different, non linear, simultaneous. We spoke and then he said, “It is time for me to go join Floy Lou (my grandmother‘s admittedly odd name). If you need me, you know how to get ahold of me”. He then disappeared into my bedroom closet with a visual effect that can best be described as the Enterprise from Star Trek going to warp.

One almost final story. When we bought the house I’m in now, which is a second home, I call the Goldston house given its location, my wife, parents, and I were moving a little stuff in. I was in the driveway with my father and my mother and wife were in a bedroom. The doorbell went “ding dong“ and scared us all. We also stopped and had that “out of time” or “did that just happen” feeling like I got at the Lafayette and other times at the haunted hotel, a feeling I’ve come to associate with a paranormal encounter. I do believe it was the previous (deceased) occupants saying “hello, and goodbye”. For a long time we could feel their energies here. At one point we had my parents over for dinner and were in the dining room where the husband’s presence was always strong. My mother started harping at my dad about something and I firmly told them to STOP because I wouldn’t have that negativity brought into my house. I was honestly afraid of them sparking paranormal activity.

Ok, almost final one. While I don’t frequently advertise this, I am one of our resident pagans. In my youth was was a much more active student and practitioner. There are ways and methods to expand your consciousness to open yourself to experiencing this invisible world. Chiefly meditation. I realize, that like @tanstaafl72555 put it as an Xn these “occult” methods are out of bounds for him. I believe that we all have these gifts and it’s part of our collective heritage of being human and that the “church” outlawed these practices and made them ”evil” as a means of de-powering the people and making them dependent upon the church and its structure. If one can communicate with god(s) directly, what use does one have for priests, a church hierarchy, or even a bible? I have had dreams that I know were interactions with god(desses) that are just as real to me as any Xn communing with Jesus. Odd as it may sound, I wont discard or discredit ones claims as such as one pagan I know told ... on 9-11-2001 they woke up and said the Angel Michael was there and asked them to help cross over the sudden dead. She said, “wait, I don’t believe in you.“. She said, “Michael chuckled and said, just think of us as a different division of the same army”. She said she was exhausted afterwards but helped cross over a lot of people.

Ok, two more related ones and that’s it. I’ve been at this for over an hour and its 2:15 am.

I mentioned meditation as a means to open your awareness. One night, late, January in OH, I did such a meditation. At the end, I could hear music playing, and the chains of a swing set creaking back and forth and a couple of little girls giggling. It sounded like it was from a summer day coming from the neighbors yard. I lay there, listened and it went away finally. I was literally experiencing an out of time moment, but then all time and all space are now. It is our perception that is limited.

Edit to add one more meditation story that I meant to include. Living in NE Ohio I was near the beach on Lake Erie. My wife was working so I went to the beach. I sat down near the edge of the water, dug my feet in the sand, letting the waves flow over my feet, and meditated. When I stopped and opened my eyes, I was surround in a semicircle (except the water) by seagulls all equally spaced apart and equidistant from me facing outward. They stood there still as statues for several minutes. One by one they started nodding and pecking and then quickly flew or wandered off.

end of edit.

One day my father was injured at work. He was using a Piranha press and the die shattered and went through his arm. It was near the time when he was to come home. I was meditating and “sent” myself to him. I saw him lying on a hospital bed in an otherwise black environment. I knew he was asleep but was aware of me. Violating protocol of asking permission, I said, “I’m here to help” and around his wound area, I saw a red glow. I clamped my hands around the wound and pumped a bunch of energy into it. When I was done, I “woke” and went to stand up and nearly collapsed. He was released from the hospital the next day. The doctors were amazed at the healing progress. They were planning on sending instructions on how to irrigate the wound, etc, but said it suddenly healed miraculously to where that wasn’t necessary.

With that, I bid you all good night. How’s that, for what you got that’s supernatural?

Edited to mostly fix typos. It was written at 2am.

This is all I've got-
~10 years ago my wife and youngest son were visited in the middle of the day by a spook that called himself Jason Ice. He came through the front door and questioned them about me, an email, and a supposed knitted bomb belt and AK-47.
Koka Booth sent me an email invite for IED festival in Cary. I replied "Thanks! I can't wait and I'll bring my newly knit bomb vest and AK.
It is unacceptable for you to encourage a culture of terror, rape, murder, enslavement into our community. Learn about it before you destroy our community here TheReligionOfPeace.com"
Two days later the FBI was at our front door. The only time my 12 yo son spoke was when he mentioned the AK, "Dad wouldn't own one of those crude, inaccurate pieces of crap". An additional bonus, I had two (empty) 55 gallon steel barrels labeled flammable in the driveway.. After checking for bugs, I laughed my ass off. My wife still sees no humor in it, and we still have agent Ice's card.

@noway2, @Chdamn, @DrScaryGuy it sounds like y'all entered the Multiverse. If you wish to skip ahead, start at 7:50

My mother claimed she saw her deceased grandfather sitting in a rocking chair in our house that he favored.
She also claimed that people who were about to die would momentarily disappear from her view as she said goodbye to them after their (unbeknown to them) last interaction. It was like she could see them fading. She called it out a few times as I was a child and she was always right. Weird.

I have a co-worker who was the most devout Christian I ever met. He used to get "talked to" by management because he was always trying to evangelize on jobs (appliance delivery/installation) and the other workers/customers didn't like it. One day during a particularly difficult carry in, a Sub Zero refrigerator was dropped down the stairs. This guy was at the bottom of the carry, and what happened should have been the death of him. The stairwell was far too narrow to move aside and let this thing pass. Gravity did it's thing and the refrigerator and dolly quickly descended the staircase only stopping at the landing and punching out the wall. The guy unscathed. No recollection of what happened, just three men in a stairwell and the refrigerator mangled beneath them. The guys on top of the carry who witnessed this were among those who would complain about his constant Jesus talk.

When I moved into my previous house I had new flooring put in across the whole house. We were putting a wood floor into the master bedroom so we stayed in the guest room which was freshly carpeted. We had a cat at the time so I would vacuum the house almost daily. When I vacuum I make perfect lines with the machine because I like the sense of order it leave behind.
After a few nights sleeping in the guestroom I was awakened by a loud heavy angry door slam. I walked the house and it was all locked up, and closed doors remained closed/open doors remained open. Hmm.
Over the next week, after I would perfectly vacuum the bedroom child sized footprints would appear on the carpet. We don't have children, and nobody visited. I'd vacuum again, footprint again. Just the guest room had this issue.
I decided that it might be time to confront this head on. I went to the center of the house and called out, "This is MY house now. I'm NOT leaving. We can get along here and share, or I can call some people and have you walled up somewhere that possibly less comfortable. Your choice."
Footprints stopped. No door slamming.
Now over the course of a decade while there my wife noticed a few things that might have been related, or not, as science can explain them away. She saw a bright orb come out of the fireplace and explode in the room...this is commonly called ball lightning and their was electrical storm type activity in the area.
We had a problem with our previously healthy animals getting sick. too.
A cat developed a tumor, had surgery, and the tumor came back to twice the size over a month later. My GSD, Annike, developed massive anxiety. If I left the house she would "hide" in the kitchen until I came home. Anybody else in the house and she's remain hiding. I had all kinds of behaviorist and trainers look at her and none of them could make heads or tails of it.
One night before bed I noticed she was all bloated up. I took her to the emergency vet. They did all kinds of imaging and determined that she had some kind of "birth defect". Her organs were all smooshed together and not located properly. She had a cavity in her chest, just empty, but large enough to comfortably hold her parts. And her intestines would leak water. That's why she was bloated. She would drink, but the water ran right through the intestines without being absorbed. She crossed the bridge that night. She was 4.
This, in hindsight, makes me wonder if the animals were under silent attack. Or were they animals, and animals get cancer and have birth defects? I wonder if the attacks didn't happen in my presence. If my leaving the house gave license to the entity to act out. Weird.

We had a friend whose father was in bad shape and expected to die anytime. I was on my way home from work and a sudden storm passed over. Only lasted a minute or two then two rainbows came out. One of them was more like a shadow and the other was clearly visible. All of a sudden the shadow began to slowly fade and the other got extremely brilliant. I noticed that they were situated over the area where our friends dad lived. Got on the phone and called my wife and said something weird is going on. She called and found out our friend dad had just passed. He had told her before he died that if it was possible he would give her a sign that he was in heaven. I told her later that she got her sign.

My FIL was an avid guitar player; when he passed, my wife's family wanted to prop his Les Paul beside the his casket at the viewing.

My wife always has a pair of Ray Bans either on, or on her head. After the wake that evening, she told me - "I have misplaced my sunglasses somewhere here at the funeral home". Several of us looked everywhere for them and could not find them. We finally decided that she must have sat them down and somebody picked them up. Oh well, we all packed up and left.

That night, I dreamed about her Dad. He came to me in my dream, never said a word, but took me by the hand, went to his guitar case, opened it up, and then opened the small compartment in his case, where you keep picks, etc - and there were my wife's sunglasses.

I woke up that morning and immediately told my wife - I know where your sunglasses are. Told her about my dream, we went to his guitar case, opened it, and sure enough, there they were.

Years ago my mom was in her garden in the backyard cutting flowers with her two best friends for my sister’s wedding that weekend. They came in the house later and after she washed up she noticed to her horror that the diamond in her engagement ring was gone. They frantically went back in the yard and looked everywhere she had been to try and find it.

After a time they gave up and came back in the house. Mom was in tears and called dad at work to tell him she had lost the diamond. He spoke to her for a few minutes to calm her down, then said a prayer over the phone for the upcoming wedding and the lost stone, and then got off the phone.

A couple of hours later dad was coming home from work. The sun was low in the sky, and as he was driving up the driveway there was the bright glint of a brief flash of light at the back of the driveway. He parked in the driveway and walked to where the flash of light had come from, stooped over, and there was the diamond.

I think almost everyone would if they'd allow themselves to see it.
Open yourself up to it, and you're open to whatever takes an interest in you. I can pretty much guarantee that i'd end up having a close encounter with Legion. that's my kind of luck.

That wouldn't scare me, ive been married to his sister for almost 20 years

My wife's old office had a security system. There was a motion detected at 6:33 I guess and on video there was this like spiky kind of ball of light bouncing around in the room. Not a flash light or laser pointer because it looked like it was bouncing all around like a little rubber ball. I still have a picture somewhere. Here is the picture: there was a video but I don't have it anymore. But the white spot moved around changing height, distance going all over the room even going behind the wall on the left in the other office.

What was your true purpose?

What was your true purpose?

I had a dog pass away a while back.....when she wanted something she would nudge me with her shout while in my office. Sometimes I still feel that nudge and look down, but no dogs are there!!
I had a cat that had died and soon after was beginning a relocation attempt to VA that ultimately failed. I woke up in the hotel room to feel a cat kneading at my feet. I moved my foot and felt it contact something momentarily and then felt a whoosh of air over my head while simultaneously hearing the cat’s distinctive squawk / meow combination.

Look up Joel 2:28

Dreams. I have seen parts of my future in dreams.

I dreamed I was at work, in the kitchen. At the serving counter was my breakfast manager and her youngest daughter. In the dream I knew her husband was dead. There was a woman who walked in front of me in the dream. After I had this dream I parked it in the back of my mind.

Several months pass and my breakfast manager husband is in the hospital. He has some heart problems that he had been keeping from his wife. A couple of month earlier he passed out at work and this is when he found out. He never told her what was going on. Any how. They had been to Charlotte to see him. The wife came by work on the way home and dropped the news on us that he had passed that night. The woman who had walked in front of me in the dream walked in front of me that morning. She was a very recently hired crew member who was from Bangladesh. She hand only been in the country for a few weeks.

Besides knowing that this woman's husband had died I had seen this woman who was on the other side of the world when I had the dream.

Not only do I have these types of dreams, but so do my brother and my father.

My dad use to deer hunt up in the NC mountains. He was scouting a area one time and told my mom that he had hunted that same area in his dreams.

My brother use to walk a town in the south west states in his dreams as a teen. He would walk this town all the time. It would become a "running joke" as mom would ask him what he had dreamed about. He would reply "just walking around my town."

My brothers ambitions were to become a member of a band that hit it big. He has played guitar for many years and makes a living owning a music store and playing in a local band. One time the band he was in headed to LA to try to get signed by a record label. The band was traveling in a old short school bus. It was past midnight and my brother was asleep in the back of the bus when it broke down. They wake him up and let him know what has happened. He gets up and steps off the bus and he tells them where the auto parts is and gives them directions on how to get there. The town that the bus broke down in is the very town that he walked in his dreams for many years.

I have had many dreams like this over the years. Too many to write about here. One dream that I man never tell or write about. Very disturbing.

The one thing is that I will not discount another persons stories. Paul wrote that what we see is temporary. What is unseen is eternal. I do believe in a spirit life. There are angels and demons. I do know there is a God and he has seen fit to show me glimpses into my future. One day I will see Him.

I was visiting home as a young man living just a couple of hours away from home and was sitting up late one night in the den just talking to my dad. I was not a “believer” at that time, and I was talking to him about a fairly benign premonition I had sometime earlier.

What I just quoted of your post is pretty much what he said to me in an answer maybe 35 years ago.

I think the point that stuck with me is when he said, “If you believe in a God and a devil, then you believe in a spirit realm, and if you believe that you have a spirit yourself then you are a part of that realm, and the spirit realm is not bound by our laws of time and space, it is eternal. Perhaps some of us are more in touch with that part of ourselves than others."

I've never been sure of any sort of paranormal experiences, but I've been told by two different people who claim to be able to see such things that my aura is "huge" and fills all the available space and is a whirling mass of black and red and gold . First time I sort of laughed it off, second time, 15 years later and on a different continent it made me wonder.

When my Uncle and Grandmother (his mother) both passed (years apart), I heard them scream my name at the time of their death, even though they were hundreds of miles away.

When my oldest was about 3 or 4, she was up in her bedroom and was waving at the corner of her ceiling. When I asked what she was doing, she said “waving to Pop and Apollo”. Pop (my FIL) and Apollo (my Rott/Dane/Lab mutt) both died the year before and had never been to this house. A year later, she did the same thing and said that she was waving to Pappy and Buddy. Pappy was my step father and Buddy was my JRT and both had died about 6 months earlier.

Both of my kids swear we have a ghost in our house but I have never seen it. Then, one night, I thought one of the dogs had snuck into our room and was howling. I woke up and saw the cloudy figure of a woman a foot from my face, with her hands around her mouth, howling. The apparition glided backwards toward the closet and disappeared (and the howling stopped). Since that night, I have seen her a couple times while awake.

Lived in a house in Knoxville and my dog would play with....something.
She would run up and down the hall, sit, try to give paw but just paw the air, beg, and lay...all while completely ignorong me.
The house had been remodeled into upstairs and downstairs apartments sometime in the past. Although I never saw it, Candace (the downstairs neighbor) claimed she saw a young 6 or 8 y/o girl in a blue dress standing where the bottom of the stairs used to be.
Candace said she had seen the girl about a dozen times over the five-ish years we all lived there. The dog played with an invisible friend about the same number of times.
Neither Candace nor I ever had doors or drawers act up, belongings were never moved around. It was almost like the little girl had manners lol.
I figgered if our ghost and the dog were cool, we were all good lol

Open yourself up to it, and you're open to whatever takes an interest in you. I can pretty much guarantee that i'd end up having a close encounter with Legion. that's my kind of luck.

I see a few posts in this thread where people worry that even considering the possibility that they could experience something paranormal might actually invite something sinister, yet no posts yet where anyone is relating personally feeling a malevolent presence.

They’re there. But like a concealed handgun , you just don’t know it.

My wife LOVES watching the corny Ghost Adventures shows. The Travel Channel is the most watched network in my house. Aliens, Bigfoot, ghosts, and the unexplained 24/7 on the "travel" channel.

We have a rule for the channel. No incantations, exorcism, spells, or reading from occult works is allowed. You simply don't summon it, call it by name, or remain open to this type of stuff.

The entity in my old house was there when we moved in. I believe it remains there. Nothing of note in the new place.

I should add here. I believe that these things can attach to objects. This is why I don't have any old war guns/knives in my possession. It's also why we don't have antiques unless it's a family heirloom. There's no telling what you're bringing home otherwise.
