Yes, we adjusted the rules so you can use 17hmr I believe. Can one shoot 17HMR and 17M2 in these challenges?

More than me for sure!Nicely done. Looks like the Vudoo is consistent. 👍
Dang! Great shooting.Had a few minutes to shoot this am but just couldn’t make it happen. Blew the target on my last shot. Open 50 yds. Bergara rifle. Lapua long range. 325 score.

Wow, out of all the ones you could miss….. I know that had to hurt.Had a few minutes to shoot this am but just couldn’t make it happen. Blew the target on my last shot. Open 50 yds. Bergara rifle. Lapua long range. 325 score.

So, so, close.I couldn’t get close to my daughters group and came so close to a perfect run but it was just not to be. I plugged it but still I can’t count it in. I will have to live with my 325. I’m good with that though. In 2 days I bet I will clear it blindfolded.

yep it did! Not sure if I pulled it or got caught with a gust of wind. If it hadnt been my last shot I would feel confident it was wind related. I am terrible about rushing my last shot or not following thru. Either way it just leaves room to improve another dayWow, out of all the ones you could miss….. I know that had to hurt.
As long as you want. No time limit.Do rimfire events ever include time? I’m asking because I’m not patient. 😂
I’d rather miss fast than slow…
How long do people usually take per target (the whole thing, not per shot)?
Great shooting! You might want to try and back your bench back an extra foot if you can for 50. Pretty much close enough though. I would also say that the one you prob counted as an out (top left 40) looks in the me. If mine looked like that I would have counted it in. Hard decision since you did admit it wasn’t exactly 50. Let’s see what others say.I have not gotten out to the range yet, but I did make a small backstop from some old logs in the back yard to shoot at since the end of the month is coming and I am not going to make the range tomorrow. I got it at 48.8 yards, so I hope that is close enough to 50...
Rifle is my Ruger Precision Rimfire, ammo is Norma TAC-22, and if I scored it correctly I got a 325. So close... Something about horseshoes and hand grenades I think?
I had fun, but I understand if I am disqualified for the range not being the full 50.

That is the one I counted as out, I couldn't tell and I don't have one of the gauges to check. Maybe, if someone would print targets in color, the lead color would have told me... 🤣Great shooting! Well you better not shoot inside. I shoot at a place that has a 50 yard range. If I put my target back on their target stand it’s closer to 63 yards. If I didn’t have a range finder I wouldn’t have known. I am sure we have others that do not have range finders and may be a foot short or 5 feet long. This is for fun. That is the one I counted as out, I couldn't tell and I don't have one of the gauges to check. Maybe, if someone would print targets in color, the lead color would have told me... 🤣
As for the bench, I was shooting from the threshold of the back door, so I can't get any more without bringing the muzzle inside. Next month I will either move it, or get to a real range.
Believe that makes 2 perfect targets for you. That’s some good shooting!Shot the Bergara again this morning. Wind was a challenge but diligence eventually paid off. Open class. 50 yds. Lapua Pistol OSP ammo. 330 score

Weather stunk but we are glad you are feeling good enough to shoot again. This turned out to be a very competitive, and fun challenge. The weather wasn't very co-operative and I know it kept me from trying to best my scores and my guess is it affected others too.
Note to Fowlhunter I usually start with the BIG targets and move down in size. That way you can adjust scope or allow for wind.
Can't wait to see the new target and I hope my heart condition doesn't effect my shooting. My Daughter pulled @Eric F name out of the hat so he will be picking our target for May.
Please be on the lookout for May’s Thread. I hope you will all come shoot next month and bring a friend.
