Arken 1-8?

Anybody have 1st hand experience with Arken optics? Specifically this 1-8?

The reticle seems kinda goofy to me, but for my use case it may not be a deal breaker.

I pilfered the scope (Burris XTR II) from my Ruger Scout to put on the 15-22 so I can do drills using the same/similar optic I compete with. So, I need to replace the scope on the Scout. This rifle gets very little use. Just the occasional deer or hog hunt and a range trip every so often.

I'm interested in THIS specific scope because it has 2 high priority features for me:
- FFP - Yes, I prefer FFP even in an LPVO
- 34mm tube. I already have rings for 34mm and don't want to replace them if I don't need to.

Is the Scout a .22? A one MOA dot on a .22 kind of sucks if trying to do any prescision target work. So does having just 8X. I only bring this up because I've put a LVPO on a .22 and was disappointed because I hadn't yet figured out that a .22 needs fine cross hairs, good turrets, a parallax adjustment and power to be worth a darn at any distance. I'm hoping to disrupt your thinking just in case you got tunnel vision relative to just trying a new LVPO.
If you do get the Arken report on it. I'm curious about it too.

Edit...that was stupid...you mentioned deer and hog hunting with it so it's clearly not a .22. I'll go sit in the corner.

Is the Scout a .22?

The scope would be going on the Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308

I got a couple of arkens and they are good to go...love the good clear optic
