My Shibaura tractor continues to do all I ask of it. It runs perfect and is a huge work saver. I have discovered that the narrow distance between the rear tires is an issue though with certain attachments. It is a cat-1 but to reach the wider 26" cat-1 stuff the lift arms will rub the tires when any side load is seen. My 19-20 inch stuff works perfect but what to do...

New arms are in order so after searching a while, I found Neat Farms. They make and sell the perfect lift arms for small tractors with a 4" offset way back on the arms so it will not rub the tires and allow full width implements to be used with no trouble. I ordered them tonight and will get some pics up after they arrive.

I ordered this kit https://www.neatfarms.com/Compact-Tractor-3-Point-Hitch-Kit--CAT-1---GD with adjustable vertical arms for both sides and new center link to match the longer length of the new arms. The adjustable vertical arms will allow me to adjust my box blade, rake and dirt scoop lower than it goes now. This should be just what I need to make the rear lift system work better for me.

With that kind of mobility, if it has anything less than an M2, you're undergunned.

This thing will go anywhere in the woods with it being so small so a brush gun on a swinging turret would be ideal.....450 Marlin?

Can't tell you how many coyotes my grandpa shot with the 4 5/8" .357 Blackhawk he kept in the toolbox, while plowing the wheat straw under.

I also got a free (datz rite, free) garden trailer that was beside the road to be discarded. It is a steel bodied one like you pull behind a mower. It has flat tires and sort of crusty looking, but solid. I am going to use the bed to make myself a "carry all" to be able to use the tractor like a little pickup truck.

Arms and the rest showed up today. Will maybe get them on tomorrow.

Tease... Where's the gun?

Arms are on. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!. So much wider if I need them to be with zero chance of tire rub.
The lift capacity will be up too due to where the lift links are on the arms.
Very happy with these.

That tractor turned out really nice after the paint job. That was money well spent. Good buy there, and handy.

Why thank you my friend. Powder coating is the bees knees. I need to have some Shibaura decals made and touch up the paint on the frame. I plan to do the wheels soon, I just dread breaking them down and all. My nephew and I are coming up sometime this month, I will give ya a text and maybe we can meet at Goobers or something. He is having knee surgery so we can pick on him and not have to try too hard to get away from him LOL

New Ebay trailer hitch. $60, I can't even buy the steel for that...

Nice, I had the same clearance issue with my Yanmar YM2000D . Used wheel spacers, I know what your thinking, but these are heavy steel construction. Each one weighed about 20 lbs.

John Deere small tractors have optional wheel spacers. If they are designed right, they are fine.
