ATF vehicle smash & grab, firearms stolen, ATF 'no comment'.

I don't know? How many times have people posted on this forum that it is on the thief not the car owner? Seems like that is the prevailing attitude among gun owners. So if that is the standard then LEO's should get that pass too. How many of us have left a gun in a car without locking it up in a car safe? Probably most of us.

Either dont storebthe weapons in the vehicle or store the vehicles inside a secure building. No excuse for that one.......

Also no excuse for giving them to a foreign country but they didn’t wanna comment on that either

I don't understand. I'm sure we secured our weapons before going inside...

But California did exempt law enforcement from the mandate to lock all firearms that are kept inside vehicles. Yet it seems most of the firearms that are stolen from vehicles are from LEO vehicles.
That's because they're the only ones that have them and they're easily identified. ;)

That's because they may not have time to get their rifle from a lock box if they are taking fire when pulling up to a situation. Unlike us, they can't turn around and get the hell out of Dodge.

I have a friend who works for a Federal agency and he has a metal safe for his AR15 in his vehicle.

I'd love to have one myself.

As soon as the thief realizes that it's full auto he or she will call ATF to figure out how to file a Form 4 and pay the tax, that's when they'll get busted. Thank God we have these laws to protect us.

Time for a few bait cars so they can catch some of these smash and grabbers.
Problem is most of these crimes are not a felony if the items stolen are under $900,
in that case it is catch and release with a summons to appear. SURE JAN.

WHAT?

Cops don't have to behave like we minions?

Unless they're at a school shooting.
