I have installed new bathroom fans in the attic, and in the process I have matted down the blown in insulation in the attic and trying to fluff it back out didn't look too good..... I was trying to find some bags of insulation but all I can find at Lowes/HD is the rolls of wall insulation, like for walls and such. Is there somewhere I can buy some bags of the fluffy stuff?

If you get regular wall insulation that has the paper backer, take the backer off.
It would trap moisture which you do not want to happen.

used to be if you bought enough of the blow in insulation lowes would loan you the machine with a deposit of course not sure if they still do or not

They used to sell bagged cellulose at Homers. Don't know if they still have it or not, but that would work.

On a funny note when I built my house I did the Blown in insulation myself as I was blowing it in I drove a roofing nail into my elbow. I came down bandaged it up wrapped it with gauze and a ace bandage finished the insulation by this time the blood had soaked through the bandage so off to patient 1st I went to have it stitched its funny but not then

I bought gobs of blown in from Lowes, it’s one aisle over from the rolls, or at least it was.
