Anyone planning on attending the Baltimore Antique Arms Show next weekend? It’s s terrific show. You never know what you’ll find. Found a minty Krag rifle two years ago and a Krag carbine last year. Looking a Norwegian Krag this year.C517F4FF-80C4-4AEA-B3B9-A1A2BE85ED9A.png

Evidently fieldgrade’s comment got removed. I understand that Md is not a free state and it truly pains me when I get to the north end of the Potomac River bridge on Rt301 and pull into the welcome center there to remove my edc and put it away but Maryland’s illegal gun restrictions don’t diminish the value of the show to a military collector. How many of you guys have ever seen a .45 Savage Trials pistol? Or a case [as shipped] of Lugers? These were not for sale, they were collections on display. Cool stuff.
I’m glad that I escaped from Balmer to NC in ‘72. I was dating a college gal from commifornia back then too but luckily we broke up and I didn’t stay on the left coast and returned to NC. Dodged several bullets back then. Just call me Neo.

That is one of the big, national shoes I’ve never been to. Look forward to hearing a report from you.

It's been a few years since I've been to the Baltimore show, but it used to be a very good antique arms show.

I went to the Baltimore show today. There were no vendors in the smaller room this year, only some displays and the eating area. Wasn’t very crowded. Saw a few Webleys, a few Colt DAs and Colt single actions, $1600.00 1903s, a ton of muzzle loaders, Civil War rifles and revolvers, a few $2000.00 1917s. Never saw a Norwegian Krag but did see a few US Krags and a unique one that was an experimental Krag with a #5 sn that a KCA member had. Very interesting rifle. It will probably pop up on the KCA Forum. I sold a 1892 Colt that paid for the nice 1942 M38 Swede I found. It will be good company for my 1903 M96 Swede. Also found some .30-40 brass. I looked really hard at a .22 target Martini in a full stock but the milsurp won. I had an enjoyable 4 hours. When I get home I’ll take some photos. Need to cast up some boolits this week too.
