Headedup to that area this weekend for a couple days and looking for suggestions of a decent gun shop. Not looking for anything in peticular just hoping to find something I can't live without. Thanks.

Ed and Dales for sure. Good dudes.

Duncans is a rip iff.

church hardware on D street is a good spot.

Silvers gun and pawn off 421 in deep gap.

Cornbread tactical in boone.

There isn't a gun shop in Boone I would go out my way to visit.

These guys had a lot of high end stuff last time I was in there. Nice guys too.
The guy at cornbread tactical was nice...but he didn't have a lot of inventory....maybe 5 handguns.

There is gun and pawn shop by a Harris teeter....Nice shop!!!! He had 100s of guns! Reasonably priced too!

I was just in Boone on vacation.

DS

Yeah... saw the signs a couple weeks ago while heading to Linville. Didn't get a chance to stop.

Chuck and Shane have a good inventory or guns, ammo and accessories. And they’re pretty good fella’s to boot! There’s also a newly moved shop in Hickory, Jon’s Militia. He was in a strip mall on Hickory Blvd, but has moved into a building on Tate Blvd near Moose Products. He has a huge inventory on both guns and ammo.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. Question... Chuck and Shane... do you know their last names? I'm originally from Avery County (please don't tell anyone...lol), and I'm just wondering if I know them. I left there in 1985, and don't really go back that often, but I'm not so far away that I couldn't or wouldn't. My dad knew everyone in the county! Of course, it's a small county. I own a small business, and try to support small business. If I know the owner, I'm more likely to drive out of my way even more to support them.

Poore.

I don't know them. I went to school with a guy named Sam Poore and his wife Christa. They own Christa's. It's just before you get to there. Can't miss Sam's huge jacked up truck or in front...Yosemite Sam...lol.
