I'm seeing some recommendations for Steve's kydex out of siler city. Thinking about shooting some marches but need to get a holster and belt crafted first. Any recommendations?
 
I love my comp tac holsters. Her comparable in price to others and not near as bulky. The international option comes with different options for mounting as well.

I have a CR speed race belt too.

Depends a bit on the competition you want to get into. I use a Double Alpha belt, a dropped and offset holster hanger from Ben Stoeger, and a Comp Tac holster for my STI. For night matches I have the exact same setup, except that I have a holster that Steve made me that accommodates my Glock 17 with a TLR-1. I think I like Steve's holster better than the Com Tac.

For belts, it is really hard to beat the Black Scorpions for the price.

Steve has made two holsters for me and I think he does excellent work. In fact, for the Glock holster, he used two layers of .08 kydex instead of .06, which is what a lot of other holster makers use.

Just remembered: he made a fuzzy holster mag holder for my buddy's G43. I got to play with it a bit. The mag actually clicks in the mag holder. Pretty nifty.

Oh, and I also had Steve make another rig for my other buddy. I got a whole setup for him for his birthday so he could shoot ZSA matches with us.
 
I've got a couple competition of holsters from Steve. One for Glock 34 with TLR1 and one for S&W M&P Pro with TLR1. They are well made, have good fit and finish. I recommend Steve's holsters. Like student of the Gun I used the Ben Stoeger drop/offset hanger. If you give him a call he can get a lot of different belt attachments. My belt is Black Scorpion.
 
+1 for Steve's Custom Kydex. I have faith he could build whatever you like.

He made a holster with and RTI hanger for my battle belt set up. I agree that the belt/holster combo depends some on the kind of competition. You could run a battle belt set up for 3 gun or ZSA. You could run a speed belt like the USPSA rigs for those also. IDPA.....well it has to be concealed and more built in the concealed carry style if that makes any sense.

Steel target match for sure. I'm not 100% on the others but I'd like to get out to a few this year.

Kidding! I'm probably going to shoot the one at Deep River once I get past the Rimfire World's match.
 
Steve made a IWB holster for my Ruger LCP and also a competition setup for my CZ SP-01 and both are amazing...the fit and finish is like no other. You will not be sorry to go with SCK!

You would have to ask him.

Can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was around 50ish if I am not mistaken.

Edit: not including the Stoeger hanger, of course.
