So, figure it was about time for a "Best Burger" thread! I'll start us off with two selections you may not see coming:

-The bar at the Hilton Garden Inn off of Glenwood.
-The Bullseye Grill inside the Triangle Shooting Academy.

This is one of my favorites at Bad Daddy’s. Just have them make it as a burger instead of chicken. The poblano Mayo is so good.

I really liked the burger at Pineville Tavern!

@jfanatic , I drove out to check out the Exxon station you recommended.

So many folks with no masks I couldn’t get near the place. Went home burgerless. :(
Maybe next year.
Be diligent my friend, it is worth it. Just wear a mask, order, wait in your car and they'll prep it fresh. No COVID on raw/cooked burger!

Because they didn't have masks or it was just too crowded?

Yep. I won't rate anything as an absolute best, but Don's burger is outstanding.

Jekyll and Hyde in Matthews makes a good burger too.

Billygoat Tavern in Chicago, not a bad burger if you've been drinking at Wrigley Field all afternoon.

I can say, don't buy beef in the South Pacific like Moorea or Bora Bora. Bad burgers and they cost like $30.

There are too many Mom and Pop grills to think about which has the best but might be El’s in Morehead ... but for the best “chain” burgers are HWY 55 Burgers ... BYOB cheeseburger with their grilled onions, mushrooms and jalapeños 🤤

Had one last week at HWY55 in Hillsborough last week. Pretty tasty! I never mind grabbing one after chatting with Anderson at Liberty Guns!

It’s around the corner from my office and still haven’t tried it. That Thunder Road Grill off Hickory Tree wasn’t a bad burger.

Kearneys
Maxburger
Nicks

Dosses in Kvegas

All pretty good in that area!

Tipsy’z Tavern on the corner of Lexington and Westchester in High Point is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the greatest onion rings ever.

For a regular lunch day S&S Grill in Thomasville. I eat there about 3 days a week. They do a pimento cheese burger with chili, I don’t get it because it causes a food coma.

If you're at Hatteras/Avon, you have to go to Burger Burger.

You really need to try some different burgers. Five Guys doesn't come anywhere close to Pineville Tavern.

I’ll be sure to check it out the next time I pass through.

The last time I had five guys was about 10 years ago. I spent a half a week back and forth puking and crapping my brains out. Never again.

Your experience with 5G was the same experience I had with Fuddruckers a few years back.

Hops in Greensboro and i think there is one in winston salem now.

Sagebrush actually has a good burger.

This place has a good burger too if you are around S. Charlotte.

Never been, never heard of it. But I did buy some powder and ammo from a forum member in the adjoining parking lot. Next time we'll be sure to include lunch in the deal.

Bro’s Sandwich Shop beside of the Foodlion right down the street from there is pretty good too.

I like a good fresh picked booger. Not too juicy, just enough texture to tease the taste buds. Maybe get a little stuck in my teeth for a small treat later.
