Hey folks! I have a Gen 5 Glock 34 that I'm trying to make into a race gun. A competition winner. Dummy-light trigger pull, super-short reset for quick followup shots, a crisp clean glass rod break, readily positive reset, and hopefully a good accuracy improvement. Anything under $300 I'd consider reasonable and where I'm looking for. Anything more, well we'll see. I'm looking for something that'll do Three Gun. Spit the rounds out accurately as fast as possible if I do my part, with as clean a break and as positive a reset as possible.
Unfortunately, I'm at a roadblock because I don't know which trigger to go with. I've standardized on the Geissele Super Dynamic 3-Gun trigger on my ARs, and if I had to give a concept for what I'm looking for here, it's "if you took the GSD3G trigger and put it into a Glock 34." That same concept. I'm not really worried about this being a duty-style gun.
What should I go with? School me on the full thing. Trigger shoe, trigger bar, springs, etc. I don't know Glock triggers. They seem more complicated than an AR trigger. I just know I'm still using the factory stock one, and it's not really all that great.
I'm also looking for competition holster recommendations, because longpistol is long.
Thanks a bunch!
