Best grease?

I've run lucas in all their flavors and have no issues. red, blue (marine), and green (all around)

I will say that the lock-n-lube fittings are the bees knees and worth the $30-40 for each fitting. I have one on my grease gun for zerk fittings and one on my tire inflator for Shrader valves and I can't believe I waited so long. Night and day in terms of usability.

For most applications it's just grease. If it's special enough to need something fancy it's gonna ask for something specific.

Been using some flavor of blue marine grease for the last few years. Cuz it's what I got.

I would caution you to NOT use any type of moly grease in anything such as “trailer wheels”. Moly grease is typically reserved for pins and bushings, not good for roller bearings. Just stick with anything EP2 or Lithium. I always preferred Lucas (usually the marine) brand because it was cheapish at Wal Mart, but they don’t seem to carry it anymore.

Lubrication Engineers makes some of the best greases available for any application. Hard to find and not cheap; their main market are fleets where downtime is very expensive.

Traditional hand cleaner will remove just about any grease from my hands - except LE’s.

I use corn head grease in about everything. It flows great when warm and is water resistant.

I went with the Lucas red & tacky....

And man....if you don't have a battery powered grease gun..you are missing out! I got a Milwaukee M12 one and LOVE it!!!

Thanks guys!

I use Red-Line mainly cause I have case from back when I help a local race team and some how their sponsors got it for them cheap but it is damn good. They also in my opinion make the best assembly lube … Red-Line Assembly Lube to me is a must when you get in engine work.
