Best prices on FFL transfers?

Red Line He's local to Raleigh and will be a sponsor when it's set up.

don't forget Backwoods Bang shop, he gives member a special deal $15 I think and he smiles taking your money, lol

Let's not kill our local shops over a couple $$. If you have a good local place, and they charge $5-$10 more than the guy on the other side of town just pay it. Unless you want to end up with a bunch of Gander Mtns, Bass Pros and Dicks for all your firearm dealings. Come on, let's not kill our NC businesses. Think about it. You are buying a $500, $1,000 or more gun and you are worrying about $5 or $10 on a transfer?! No wonder retailers think customers are all a-holes.

$40 at Triangle Shooting Academy, that's right. $40. Oh, and $37 for a $27 Glock 43 mag, and they wouldn't sell me a $3 bottle of gun oil unless I gave them my name to put in the computer, which i didn't, even though I have a range card there.

Did I say yet I won't be going back?

I really wanted to join there since it is close to my kid's v-ball place. I could drop her off at 5:30, go shoot and pick her up at 7:30. Perfect. But the discount for members to attempt an offset of their insanely high prices on everything is dumb and a turn off. Maybe they'll get enough business with high rollers and the clueless, but I am not paying an extra $5 on every box or ammo or magazine for the privilege of walking in there. If they were anywhere close on some stuff maybe I'd buy something, but they are very high on most things. For a non member it is almost criminal based on my last trip.

The Gun Shop in Thomasville is my LGS and they get $25.00 for a transfer, but the boys there keep the money all year and divide it among the 3 employees as a Christmas bonus. Kinda nice and it is not a lot of money from my pocket.

TSA is the reason why I'm now a member at Woody's (as of yesterday).
