of course, it is only an opinion.

Youâre in my area. A good Torta can be found inside the Super foods on University Pkwy, next to big lots. There is a Mexican restaurant inside. They answer the phone in Spanish. Thatâs when you know youâve found the good one!Texas is correct, the Torta is the best sandwich to be had in the sate of Texas.
As far as Pennsylvania, there is nothing better than a Phili cheese steak from Genoâs. Nothing! Well, the only thing that comes close is a Reuben from Primati Brothers in Pittsburgh.
Your probably thinking about Johnsonâs or the stockyards for burgers in Siler City. I think Johnsonâs grinds their burger fresh every morning. The stockyards also has excellent burgers as well.List is garbage....the best sandwich in Pennsylvania is from Primanti Bros. Not some hot pork from Philly. At least they didn't put Nic's and Gino's on the list... better cheese steaks can be found literally anywhere.
Ohio is spot on....hot smoked bologna with swiss. Any Amish run place along any roadside.
Maine I would argue is Beal's Lobster Pier for the Lobster Grilled Cheese or their lobster rolls that are dusted with Old Bay and is hugely controversial.
I'll give them Chapps pit beef in Maryland.
I can think of many sandwiches in NC that would go again pimento cheese although I haven't met pimento cheese that I don't like. Merritt's BLT outside of Chapel Hill. BBQ sandwich from bunch of places. Burgers from the little place in Siler City that I can't remember the name of.

I immediately thought of Merritt's as well. Not sure how something so simple could be just that awesome, but they do it.....Merritt's BLT outside of Chapel Hill. BBQ sandwich from bunch of places. Burgers from the little place in Siler City that I can't remember the name of.

I'm all for some Primanti's and it is the quintessential sandwich for Western Pa. The original location on 18th St. in the Strip District is by far the best one to eat at!I recall when Merritt's was still an actual gas station. Then they had a short-order grill. Thus a legend was born.
I will second (third, fourth, etc.) Primanti's. They are not all the 'same,' though. The best is the original on the river. I do love me a Geno's cheesesteak from Philly, though.
