He has been on N.C. before. I recall his graduation speech at Chapel Hill espousing same sex marriage among other progressive ideals. (2012?)

I think Trump takes more of a Libertarian stance on it... live and let live is what I take from him. Could be wrong...Isnt Trump cool with same sex marriage too?

Yeah, and there are leftists that think any "man" that feels the need to be armed makes them sick. At the end of the day, people need to mind their own business. I don't want people telling me how to live my life, so I'm sure as heck not going into intrude on the lives of others. YMMV.Any "man" that feels the need to have domain over another man makes me sick.
I think Trump is cool with whatever gets him the most votes.Isnt Trump cool with same sex marriage too?
I think that they are playing the long game. This generation might ignore these laws, but the successive generations will not.and from the article in the link...
Virginia is now in the hands of anti-gun Democrat lawmakers,
Not trying to be argumentative, but the State of Virginia is not in the hands of anti-gun Democrat lawmakers, nor has Virginia been “taken over”.
The fate of Virginia or any other State lies squarely with “the people”. They have the final say in whether liberty dies, or lives. A prime example of this is the number of “green” counties in Virginia. That did not happen because the commissioners in each of those counties woke up one morning and decided enough was enough. No, that entire movement was borne out of a constituency that decided to raise some hell.
Example two: If the VA legislature passes the bills and they’re signed into law by the governor, should the State put “teeth” behind it and start aggressive enforcement, folks will learn right quick-like just how little power rests with Richmond and how much power lies with folks from Jonesville to Accomac, Winchester to Boydton and everywhere in between.

Bloomberg is a waste of skin. Perhaps someone will invite him to our county tomorrow night as we plan to be discussing this below. Our State Senator who resides in our county seat of Lumberton will be introducing this subject for discussion and vote:

Bring it on Bloomberg.
Those of us in the liberal stronghold of Cumberland won’t be so lucky. Liberal majority in the county commission, judges, city council and mayor, and a Sheriff who would LOVE to restrict us all to open carry derringers....
Bout ready to move just inside Bladen county. I like Jim McVicker. Not sure if he’s red or blue, but he has no problem with the 2nd amendment. I’ve done a TON of tower and antenna work for BCSD, and all the higher ups that I’ve met are good guys.

And you're right...they haven't took over until the people lose the will to keep fighting. And thats going to take nore than a political rally to do.
That what happens when we play with card-shapers. The only way to beat card-shapers is to overturn the table. It's impossible to win when they set rules.I still feel that Trump is going to be the last Republican president.
We are on his list.
