Bought a Magpul mbus Gen 3 and it is waaaay loose.

Bought it new in package from gun shop today and went to put it on my MI rail and it just slides on and off just by tilting the rifle and tightening it does not help the rattle. My 2 sets of Gen 2 front sights are real snug to get on and off so i know it’s not the rail. I guess i need to contact Magpul and see if they will send me a new front sight. This was loose on my bkings rail also bit was way tight on the Breek arms handguard. Anyone ever experienced this?

Do the gen 3's not have a cross bolt screw that sits in the picatinny slot like the last two gens?

Sight is .854
Rail is .833
It is tight on the 308 but fits like it should and wont fit the breek arms( way to tight). Loose on the MI and bking’s handguard. I’ll call the gun shop and see what they say. There 45 min away so inless they can do something it isn't worth the drive. I’ll call magpul monday and see what they say
 
That is disappointing to hear. I was looking forward to trying a set when they started to get a bit cheaper. The gen 2 sets are usually nice and snug.
