76k on the original padsHow many miles did you get out of those pads? I will be checking the pads out on my F150 this weekend.
The pin that enables the caliper to move left/right with the wear. Thick truck rotors will get at least one redo. After that it depends on what is available (thickness) after wearing.A pin ?? What kind of pin ? How many miles on pads ? Just curious as i have a f150 with only a few miles on it. - have heard they don’t like to turn rotors anymore and just replace them. That will get into a fellas pocket pretty deep. And why the need for the torch ? What was stuck
The brake caliper pin. They tend to freeze up in the caliper carrier brackets.A pin ?? What kind of pin ? How many miles on pads ? As far as rotors go, they are not the good ole rotors ot yesteryear. To thin to machine most of the times, or will be right at or below minimum specs after machining. Just replace as cheap as they are
Its called a heat wrench, just because we might work at a dealership doesn't mean we don't have to resort to the dirty work required. We just have better looking uniforms. That's unbelievable.
