Anyone snag one of these? They look really nice, though admittedly I wish they were blued vs. parked. Global Ordnance is the importer and has had them on its site for a little while now, but I just got an in-stock email from Atlantic and it appears to be the same batch of Maks.

Picked mine up last week…nice kit in my opinion, though my knowledge of Maks isn’t great. Yes, parked and not blued. My son likes older guns (no I don’t use that as an excuse…😬) and we’ve been looking for a Mak to add to the collection. Haven’t shot it yet.

Well, that’s a great question and I’m not sure exactly how to tell! I didn’t see anything obvious on the gun. Is there a way to tell without running the SN somewhere?

What is the two-digit number following the two-digit lettering on the gun's serial?
 
I ordered one yesterday from Atlantic- these look really nice and price was decent for the condition. I have been looking to add a MAK for awhile. Most of of what I have ran across was MAKs in poor condition with one mag for within $100 of what these were priced at (not talking about war era guns either)
My daughter has been asking for a MAK for well over a year. It will be a nice to surprise her when we pick it up
 
Picked this up a few weeks ago from Atlantic. Arsenal Makarov imported from Bulgaria.
Shoots absolutely lights out, recoil is manageable for its size. Came with nice grips and surplus leather holster , lanyard and 2 mags.
As,luck would have it , picked up 2 East German mags for $20 each at LGS
Now I’m on the hunt for ammo , and eventually a set of dies and brass.
