C&E Gun and Knife Show Concord, NC - July10th/11th

I know, and thanks. I wish for the good ole days of packed rooms. Lots of vendors and buyers

Dixie seems to be having a problem with The Park, they should move to Concord
 
I gave up on the C & E shows after going to two of them. The last one I went to there were people coming out telling me not to waste my money. They were right.
 
I do try now to focus on the positive aspects of gun show culture, and meet guys like ya'll and myself at those shows.
I generally try to buy, sale or trade with attendees now. I also do occasionally buy something from a vendor if it is sensible and I need it.
Just trying to make the best of a kinda sucky situation... The Vendors in the Gun World are virtually Always trying to screw ya, no matter where you encounter them.

I’m sure there will be lots of buyers for y’all’s guns if you listed them for the prices you think the gun show dealers should be selling their guns for. I didn’t think so. People are trying to make a living. Supply and demand. Distributors don’t have a ready supply of guns on the shelf to restock these ‘unscrupulous’ dealers. Make them a reasonable offer. I’m sure it will be much better when there aren’t any more of these disappointing gun shows to disparage. I’m not the biggest fan of C&E Gun shows either,, but at least they’re continuing to try to bring acceptable gun shows to the public. Think how happy the Govt overlords would be if they just gave up. $10 isn’t so much to help sustain gun shows during these days of Democrats and Covid.

if you’re like me, you’ve got a mountain of gun related stuff you have no use for. Rent a table and redistribute it. Or just continue to complain and trying to discourage others from going to a gun show
 
If I'm going to drive an hour to a show and 90% of the tables are stun guns, jerky, and every other thing other then guns I'd rather stay home. If that's a complaint then so be it. No one is attempting to discourage others from wasting their $10.00 since it's up to them if they feel it's worth the time and if they like jerky they should go. All I can say is it's not for me. When I go to a gun show I expect to see tables of guns and that's not what I've found at the C & E shows I've been at.

This show stunk. More crap than guns in my opinion. Your typical Jerkey, Stun Gun, Coin, Pocket Books, Candles other useless crap you would expect to see from a C&E show. Two tables had nothing in them but a bunch of campaign signs for politicians. I saw one or two normal priced items there, but if your into way overpriced guns and ammo, this is your show. I saw one dealer selling 38grn .22LR Aguila for $20 for a 50 round box. A lot of the dealers had those pump and semi auto GForce and Citadel Turkish shotguns that have been discussed on here were going for $400 - $900 depending on the model. That $400 pump can be bought from PSA right now for $139 and the $700 Auto can be had for $199 - $249 from other discussions that have been posted here. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I'm calling what I saw. I guess I was going with higher hopes.

Truth hurt?? :) The C & E shows are terrible, unless you like jerky and everything mentioned above, and they have been for quite a while. Telling people they are going to discourage people from going by telling the truth won't change that. If you want to go and waste money be my guest. But my experience having gone to their shows will always get the same response then someone asks about them.

Nothing against C&E specifically but I won't go to the Concord show. Not sure I understand how the Hickory show can be so much better than Concord. I gave the Concord show a chance, the last four times I went I told myself "Never again" before I listened.
