C&E is having their gun show in Hickory, NC this weekend at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. This is usually a pretty good show, as shows go anymore, especially for its size. We will be there. Who else is going?

Jeppo‘s a solid maybe.

Ive missed the last couple, so Im gonna seriously try to make this one.
It'll be Sunday though, already got a housefull of folks coming over Saturday.

At the last Hickory show, wasn't there a different door you went to ( shorter line ) if you bought a ticket online?

I'm looking and can't find any info about online purchases of tickets to get in.

Edit, found what I was looking for.

Lots of ammo dealers, so far. Several gun dealers there when I left, as well. Plenty of vendors weren’t set up yet, though, so we’ll see what it looks like in the morning.

Looks like I’ll not make it. Bummer. I actually have cash for the nice 1911 I’m sure is there waiting on me. Oh well

Any reloading components to be found?
If you are speaking of the golden primers the chicken laid, there are some at the crazy(normal now) prices. There is very little powder. Saw some for $40 (RL25 and three other canisters of military powder I believe). There are some projectiles and some dies.

Regarding components, they were few and far between.

We didn’t sell a lot of ammo today, not surprisingly. We did sell a pile of guns, though. Handguns were the hot item.

Brass cased is $35 and up here, depending on brand. At least one table had bulk 9mm just under that on a per box basis.

Saw at least 3 Sig 220 for sale today. Came close to getting another one, but couldn’t quite agree on the price. Pretty sure another dealer got it for his table tomorrow.

Any decent US Milsurps?

Pretty nice interwar 1903 sold off our table today. Guy beside us had a nice US 1917 that was fairly priced. Couple Garands in the show and a couple dealers selling US military parts.

Which versions? Been looking for a 10mm Hunter or 10mm Elite, can't find either anywhere!

Went looking for a nice 03-A3 for my kid. I found 2 but unfortunately both had National Ordinance receivers. I did come away with a Rossi R92 in 44mag though. Now for that Rossi R92 Carbine in 357. I thought it was a pretty good show. Best I've been to for some time

We had a good 03A3, but it sold yesterday. Sold an 03 at close of the show yesterday, too.

My goodness, what a bunch of ammo there was here. Everyone and his brother who could camp out at Academy was set up, along with ammo dealers from several states. Our gun sales were awesome, but our ammo sales were not, in spite of being among the cheapest in the place. By the time they got to us, they had already bought ammo.

What a good 03-A3’s going for now? Might not be bad to have a backup ...

I took a peak at that 03A3, it was a nice one.

Saturday morning there was a guy up the street in an empty parking lot next to the hotel that was set up with a tailgate full of ammo with a big "ammo for sale " sign hanging from the camper top.
