Going to be purchasing some weapon lights soon for my ar and pcc and was wondering if you guys could post some pics of your cable management so I could get some ideas?

I use the cloud defensive LCS. I don’t have any pics and I’m not at the house I’ll try to remember to post some tomorrow. I really like it the way it works. Holds the tape switch in place and hides most of the wire.

Please explain your setup here I see you have a Streamlight pro tac but what is going on with the pressure pad and the cable? It’s very clean!
Just used a cloud defensive LCS to mount pressure pad. The LCS has “channels” machines in it to run/hide the cable. The wire runs out the back of the pressure pad and down the left side of the LCS and then the wire is ran through a picatinny rail slot to the right side and then it’s comes back out again at the rear. That probably makes no sense. YouTube cloud defensive LCS and watch a video on how it works it’ll be much easier to follow than my word salad.

Thanks Dave!!

I prefer to buy Arson Machine but they are a bit pricey. There are some versions on Amazon that are slightly different. Such as Monstrum. And there’s one other that is an obvious ripoff of Arson.

It is a bit of a conundrum but where I’ve landed is Arson for my important builds and cheap Amazon stuff for my budget builds. When possible I’ll eventually convert them all to Arson Machine.

I personally would have went with 65lbs braid but some of us like to live on the edge!

Avatar looks familiar! :)
You Sir, have good taste 👌... birds of a feather I say

I did some testing between the two, going from 40 to 65 crosses the point of diminishing returns. I couldn't justify the much added weight of 65 over 40 given the unnoticeable "extra" securing power. This is a LIGHT weight rifle😉

Now stow away a few hooks in the grip and it's a survival rifle!
Hey that's not a bad idea! I can see it now..
"What'd ya catch that thing with..?"
"Oh ya know a BCM 14.5 with a medium government taper and 40lb braid"🤣🤣🤣

Ok fellas, this seems like a perfect thread for my question.

A while back my son sent me this flashlight, from his days in the army. He’s not a shooter, thought I might have a use for it.

It‘s pretty big and heavy (compared to some modern lights) but it has enough “coolness” to it that I want to add it to a rifle.

I see several of you have something similar. The pressure switch on mine doesn’t have a “mount”. What do I want to be able to attach the switch. I was thinking zip-ties. I don’t want some thing expensive. This isn’t going into combat, it’s just a fun-gun.

My ideal setup would be to be able to remove the switch quickly, since the light mount is also QD.

I see stuff like this on Amazon, but don’t know if it’s
Probably be fine. Sure it’s made of Chinesium. But all it’s doing is holding a switch. Buy two in case one breaks.

I see stuff like this on Amazon, but don’t know if it’s junk.

Considering I use fishing line and tape, I'd say that's a better looking option than what I got going on😅 worth a shot to try, it looks decent.
Heck, I didnt even know things like that even existed honestly!!

If you’re using a top mounted switch, the LaRue index clips work well

Exactly what I need…and didn’t know existed. Mounted a light up two days ago, that I’d gotten for Christmas last year. 🙄

ETA: Man, I sure don’t need 72. Any chance you have ~5 (black and/or FDE) you’d part with? 🤣

Each bag comes with mostly normal clips and a few of the “hooks” and “tabs” for cables. PM sent, I’ve got a bunch of extras laying around
