Baseball season is firing up fast and furious (if I may use that term on a gun board!), and the wife has instructed me to find suitable replacement camping chairs for our use at the games (no bleachers provided at the fields). It seems as though my $4 Academy Sports ones have forced our hand. Plus, they'd get good use around the yard and at the annual/biannual camping trip.

I'm not looking to spend $50 on each chair either. I'd like something that doesn't feel like you're sitting on a Chinese torture device, and will hold up to lots of use.

What say ye, oh great CFF collective?

I know you don’t want to spend $50 but these are by far the best I’ve ever used. Super comfy and well built. I’m a bigger guy and I can demolish a cheap chair in no time.

I'm eyeballing these right now: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics...519334581&sr=8-22&keywords=camping+chair&th=1

Anyone have any experience with them? Comes with a one year warranty from Amazon, and it looks like I can add an additional 2 years for under $2. Reviews look solid. Only issue may be weight (16 pounds). But I figure throw a shoulder strap on them and they'd be easy to carry from the car to the field.

I have a similar looking chair that I bought at Lowe's. Comfy, but heavy to carry around. I'd just go to your local big box outdoors stores and see what they have. Cabelas usually has decent stuff. How great a chair do you really need for a couple hours of baseball?

And rememebr there is a price/quality trade off. You want something comfortable, but don't want to spend too much money? You'll like give up something in the transaction.

I love my Kijaro dual lock chairs. The way they lock up tight make them much more comfortable then the normal camp chairs. They include a strap built in to carry for when (not if) your carrying case gets lost or torn.

I’ve had a couple of the timber ridge and really like them. Bought a couple of these last year and they seem to be pretty good as well.
