Can't upload video

I would like to post a short video, but can't seem to make it happen. I know I can upload from YouTube.

I can get to the CFF you tube page, but can't upload there even if I sign in.

When I try to "create" a channel to let me upload it, but I hit a brick wall at the create you tube channel 1st step "Upload a Picture" and name & handle.

File is not too large - only a few seconds long.

Any advice or help appreciated!

I believe you can save it to Google Drive and then post a link (share).
