How do you like those Goodyears?

I'm still working on my 79 wagoner. 3 years now. And by work on I walk by and sigh wishing I had more time to work on her.

love them....

i am getting another set if these would ever wear out

I'm on my 5th or 6th set of BFG A/T and don't see myself switching but when those came out they did get my attention. The BFGs are awesome in any conditions and I get 60k out of each set.

i wish i got more than 25 to 30 out of my BFG's

these goodyear have been on the jeep for 4-5 years now... they take twice the abuse offroad as the bfg's did and they are stickier on the rocks with better grip

Did you just order a sticky on the rocks?

I had a 1997 TJ 4.0
3.5" lift with 33 SuperSwamper tires.

let me say, that thing parted traffic when I wanted to get out.
no one would park around it, lol.

I put around 100,000 miles on it and sold it for more then I bought it for, granted it was on new tires that ran 1500 dollars.

are you planning on extending the brake lines? or is it already fully articulated?

There's a 1950 Studebaker 2R10 pickup in my garage... not 100% sure what I want to do with it yet, but I can say that it will not be a restoration. I'm liking resto-mod route, but I'll need to replace the front end and rear end along with the drive line, so it's probably more likely to end up being a chassis replacement with something newer. I'll find a couple pics and post them up in a while.

Sold my 2wd 1996 classic Cherokee and started looking for one in 4wd. Ended up finding this 93 ZJ limited with 72k original miles on the I-6.
Found a factory mount to move the spare to the roof rack, and mounted an Icom 706 MKIIG ham radio. Front bumper cover is currently off awaiting
a which bumper that I'm building.

I miss my 95 grand with the 5.2 I had, it was a good jeep and was put throught alot. The 4.0 makes a great engine in one and would consider it the most reliable engine in those.

Posted on the other site (since deleted all pics and information).

Picked this project up a couple weeks ago from an old friend down south of Charlotte (Mt Holly).
2008 Buell 1125R. It has seen better days...took a little trip down the side of a Tennessee mountain.
But, honestly, it's not in too bad of shape considering.
For the LOW price I paid I got a race ECM (computer) which cost more than I paid for the whole dang bike plus a running motor.

It will be a drag bike.

I dont know what I'll do
a) strip it down and have the frame checked and then rebuild it and do a long extended arm on it
b) strip it down, put motor in a different, dedicated drag frame

I *THINK* that with the power it has, and with the updates I'll do (minor things) it'd have around 150 rear wheel hp when it hits the strip
In a proper set up it should be around 145mph at mid 9 second 1/4 mile.
That's based on my OTHER 1125R that Ive raced and similar hp dragbikes etc.

We'll see.

Either way, It'll be stripped down and some parts sold to recoup my money from this

I've never been to a big race even there, I should try this coming spring and come by to see your car.

Does this count?

Heck yes it counts! And that would look great in my Jeep!
Yes, it would, and would be a helluva lot of fun in the process.

Would probably shake it apart just sitting there idling.

My '02 FXD Super Glide. Not the usual direction guys take with with a Dyna Glide, but I never claimed to be like the other kids & this bike is an all-day comfortable back road bomber.

Lucky13bullets did you do your own hydrodipping?

i did... its easy
Cool. Let me know if you decide to try them. We had a guy that was going to do the dipping for us and we would market his service. He ended up stealing about 18 of my old USGI mags and "disappearing".
