Got one in like this.




A new extractor, piston and retaining nut plus a new spring set. Also chased the damaged threads in the cylinder and this rockola is back to running like a champ.

What would cause the damage to those threads ?

Gas piston nut came loose...piston "rode up" into the threads and rolled the edges some. If I couldn't save them..its basically new barrel time.

Usually better to be saved than replaced.
