carrying while running, how are you doing it?

This is my running vest. Lil LCP fits nicely in the pouch with a pocket holster.

If no vest, I can keep it IWB. It's the only piece of hardware light enough to run in.

I picked up one more running pack, going to try with the lightest setup possible and see if it works. I really don't want to go the chest pack route if I can avoid it, or any of the more LARP oriented suggestions offered up just because I don't live in afghanistan (or chicago).

It's quite possible this will end up being a talisman gun; there to ward off evil by it's mere presence and not actually accessible fast enough should the need arise.

The PC is just for the extra weight. If I didn't want that, I'd prob just wear a running fanny if not IWB. Are you primarily concerned with beasts of the field?

Probably going with an LCP or P32 in this case.

If you get a pair of reasonably tight fitting walking shorts, pocket carry in the back pocket is doable without a handgun bouncing around. I do a good amount of walking every week, and I carry a P3AT (same frame size as the P32) and I "back pocket carry" for the same reason.

I'd die of heart disease before I'd wear tights, but that's me.

Another vote for Hill People Gear. I don’t run with one, but I hike a lot with a kit bag and it’s the only way to carry in the great outdoors.

Still have my Bianchi Range fanny pack from 91' next to me. It has carried M9/1911/Glocks and others on my miles of running in foreign countries in various states of turmoil. Sucks for running at a fast pace as it bounces over your jewels. I usually push it over to the hip. For running at home I used to run with belly band and a Smith 442. It stayed put and didn't bounce. However I did wear it over the stomach but at waist like belt under shorts/shirt. Pistol at familiar 4 o clock. Reminds me I need to sew one together this week.

I am almost always pushing a double stroller so I throw my SCCY into the parent tray compartment. Been wanting an option for when not doing that so thanks for the thread.

Not sure if this is still open but I got some running shorts from Savage tactical and they have compression liners with pockets that hold a pistol perfectly

Are they ones I posted in post #12? They are having a 35% off sale, I might order more.

NM...that sale was just for a specific item. When I see those shorts at that price again I will snag a couple more.

I saw these this morning, they look very similar to the SavTac shorts, but on sale:

Spyderco Delica 4 with Wave in front right pocket like always.

I'm not running in rough areas. Even when I run after work at 3-4 am I don't carry. The only time I carry is if I trail run and I carry a 22 revolver mostly for critter problems, and it goes in my pack so it's not exactly quick access.
