I haven’t been in there in years for the same reason, and I live in Carthage.Heard they were bought out by Southern Variety in Biscoe.
Last time my friend and I were in there we were totally ignored by employees for the ten minutes or so we were there.
Did yall see who could match the cycle rate on the opening of The Rifleman when it aired?Yea Dennis has really let it run down the last several years. Used to be a fun place to hang out on a Saturday morning with a western on the tv
Hard to make money as just a "hang out". Several years ago, a buddy of mine called or txt'd me saying CSS had a Sig 716 and I had been looking one. I was working from home then. Gave myself an hour to get there from Raleigh, left a hour before opening time. Got there, walked in the door. Said let me have that gun. Handed over the money and drove back to Raleigh. I think that store is the only place I ever saw a Stag Arms AR for sale. Maybe the only place I ever saw a Sig 716. If passing thu, I always stopped there. Bought a few guns there over the years. With the stats that NSSF is reporting, 57 million guns thru NICS in 57 months, I dont see how a gun shop that had inventory could not make money.Yea Dennis has really let it run down the last several years.
