Casting for a 45 60 but using a 330 gr bullet mold. It is a little long but the dummy round cycled and dropped nicely in the barrel. Should work pretty well. 0217191021.jpg 0217191618.jpg

Curious as to how well they will shoot. What type rifle are you firing the rounds through?

Between working and raining I have not been back to range. Going this Sunday to try them out.

Those 76's are a class act rifle, look foward to a range report.

Got to shoot the 45 60 yesterday. The 330 grain cast cycled prefect. I had two good loads. One was pushing 1125 fps with sd of 4.5 and the other 1175 with sd of 5. Groups at 100 yards using sticks, open sights 3.5 ". Think I could shoot better.....going to load some more test loads and zero in on the best load.

Very respectable grouping, what powders are you using?
