All you guys that have wives and GF'S that carry CCW Purses...I need some ideas on what company has the best CCW Purse out there, for woman I'm sure its all about looks, I need durability, construction. If need be, need to be able to play tug of war with the purse!!! Give me Yr thoughts!!!

I don’t know about you guys, but my women friends that conceal carry tell me that they hate CCW purses because they’re always afraid that someone will snatch their gun out of their purse/misplace their purse/have to sit there and dig for their gun in their purse, anyways you guys get the picture. They prefer one of these…..

I guess bonus points for getting to show off.

My wife prefers to carry off body in a purse.
She likes the Montana West purse.
As with anything else you get what you pay for.

Wife was really picky, but finally found a CC purse that she loves. She found it at a gun store in Greenwood, SC two years ago.
Uses it every day.
It's just like the one in this link, only her's is distressed leather which no longer seems to be an option.
She's rough on purses, but this one still looks new!

My wife and daughter like damsel in defense.

This one has been in daily use for several years. Other purses haven't held up; this one has..

Eta- several other products also in use. Daughter started selling the stuff the ladies like their products so much.

if you thought your box of unused holsters was bad...

i'd say let her do the picking. don't surprise her with one she hasn't approved
This....

My wife went through 4 or 5 purses before the one I posted above. Some didn't quite work in daily use; some didn't hold up to the strain of containing stuff and the pistol.

Some are toast in a box somewhere; there are a couple that are ready for duty as fashion dictates.

At anywhere from $45 to $150 apiece, makes my holster collection look cheap.

Kinda like shoes. . . .

I am a very vocal opponent of off body carry. I have a couple of purses that are used for demo purposes in CCH classes. IF she chooses a purse option, please remind her to practice drawing from the bag on a daily basis. Nothing worse than fumbling to find the gun when you need it.

My preferred carry options are from CanCan Concealement.

Have a laser bullet to have her practice draw and shoot. She has a couple on-body carry options she uses sometimes. Thanks for the link; I will pass it on.

My wife has a couple of the Gun Tote'n Mama purses. She really likes them. I replaced the universal fit holster that comes in it with I believe it was a Cross Breed with velcro on the back for her Sig P238. It attaches to the inside panel so the gun stays put so it's where she expects it to be. They also have cables through the purse straps to keep them from being easily cut and grabbed (at least the 2 she has does).

For top quality,, you might want to consider "Coronado Leather" CCW purses. When we used to teach a lot of ladies clinics,, and my many times of looking at all the offerings at the SHOT Show,, I found them to be the better quality &top notch designs. And a few subtle features that are noteworthy.

These Roma leather bags at my job sell pretty well with the ladies and they’re super durable, we got plenty to choose from. All concealed carry purses except for the backpacks at the end and the wallet size purses. Genuine leather.
