Got the fresh 6.0 and new turbo all dropped in my little RCSB, gotta tune it a little now.

I drive a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Silver with grey cloth interior.

I’d post a pic, but you have all seen one. Just go to the local shopping center and look in the parking lot. I’m sure you’ll find one.

The plain car for the plain guy.
I had a Limited. Thing had a vibration in the rear that nobody could find. I got new tires, had the thing lined up twice, wheels balanced twice. Traded. I liked the actual transmission with actual shift points though.

Was at the local Doller store today and I was shuffleling out with a 12 pack under my arm, I was behind another old guy shuffeleing out and as we split up to go to our cars he asks me " Zat your car? " Yep I tell him and as he nicely gets into his SUV he says" Nice , for a match box car" I then fall backwards into my car and struggle to get in is when I understood what he ment. This is the Vette along side the Wifes Camry..IMG_20230824_180337035_HDR.jpg

Nice! GF just bought a nice turbo'd Subaru & I'd forgotten how much I love the way turbos pull. I'd been planning on a small cam, cleaned up heads, long tubes, etc. & good tune for my 5.3, but now I'm eyeballing turbo kits from Trick Turbo & Huron Speed. Not trying to get silly, but a mild 7 psi would make a hella fun daily & pull a pontoon boat like it's not even back there.

After a 2F/1R level & new Bilstein 5100s at each corner yesterday & some new shoes this morning, my suburban dad wagon now looks like a proper 4wd truck. Going to the body shop, week after next, for debadging- only things staying are "Silverado" on the doors & the bow tie on the tailgate. Stickers, pinstripes, door moldings, all that crap, gone.

I used the huron kit and it worked well for my project.

All cleaned up after losing the door moldings & all the stickers, stripes & extraneous stick-on BS.

I saw that metallic green for the first time on a silverado a few weeks back in the 'ville. Man, that is a SHARP color when the sun hits it!

Also, what wheels are those? I love the old GM rally wheels.

Thanks. Looks all dark/black till the sun hits & holy crap does the metalflake leap out atcha. Apparently a very rare color from GM- only on 1/2 ton crew crab LTs with the full-tilt, extra chrome package & on the Avalanche/Tahoe/Yukon only available in the pimped out, extra chrome & everything painted the body color versions.

Wheels are Vision Rally 55s, 17x8, 0 offset with 275/70-17s.

We had a bunch of cars and trucks out in the front yard of the old farmhouse in Winnabow back in 2018 when a hurricane came through. That was about the highest land around, and several people did not want their cars flooded. The group contained, among other cars, a Bentley, a Porsche, and a Cadillac. Not bad for an old house out in the sticks. The red Cadillac belonged to my late aunt who bought it for herself for her 98th birthday and drove it for almost two years. I eventually wound up with it and am enjoying it a lot. The Bentley and Porsche did not belong to any family member.IMG_20231117_131109553_HDR.jpg
I am now driving my wife's 2006 Jeep Liberty ever since my 2004 Yukon died. I gave the Yukon to Buccaneer to use as a prop in the IDPA matches. I see a newer and bigger truck in my near future.
