I have been wanting something like that but for MAC or PC or iOS I can’t find one that doesn’t require loading drivers or an app. Which has to be sketchy since basic webcams are pretty universal. Should not need drivers so I don’t trust what they are doing on my device.

It's the same as a webcam as far as I can tell. I downloaded any ole app from the play store.

I had the same thought, but the one I have gets rather warm when the lights are on. Warm enough to be an issue, so to speak.
