So, wifey’s phone wouldn’t charge in the car. After the dealer verified the USB port is putting out the proper juice, I took a close look at her phone. As can happen, the battery was obviously bulging which lifted the screen away from the body. When that begins, there is danger of the battery leaking and/or fire. You can check yours by placing it on a perfectly flat surface (glass or stone are ideal) to see whether it lays perfectly flat. Check both sides.

$21 at Amazon and we seem to be back in biness. 🤓

I had to replace the battery in my Samsung S8 earlier this year because it pushed my phone apart.

You can see how puffed it was,,,



Everyone told me to be V-E-R-Y careful taking it out of the phone because if I punctured or disturbed it, it was likely to explode or catch fire.




So, after the new battery was installed and everything's working, let's have a little fun with the old battery...


Let's attach it to a paper plate and see if the Ruger Wrangler can disturb it a little...





One shot. It smoked, belched, and burst into flames! Cool!

Daughter’s phone recently exhibited a bulged battery. In that case, I was able to find a new phone cheap enough to not bother with a battery transplant.
