quote:
Spaceflight observer Jonathan McDowell told SpaceNews that the previous Long March 5B launch saw the most massive uncontrolled reentry in decades and the fourth biggest ever.
“The Long March 5B core stage is seven times more massive than the Falcon 9 second stage that caused a lot of press attention a few weeks ago
when it reentered above Seattle and dumped a couple of pressure tanks on Washington state.”

Be cool if it hit DC, the headlines would be EXTREMIST something something
wrong. the headlines would talk about how DC was wrong to have been built there, and china was just trying to help the world by launching to the space station, but that racist math struck again and is trying to make china look bad

Needs the plow though China, they caused it.... and they need to learn from it!

Few years ago they tested an anti satellite weapon, created a massive amount of space junk that could damage the ISS and other assets. Idiots.

Idiots? I find it a little difficult to believe they didn't "know" this was going to happen all along and that the need for space superiority or at least being in the game, overshadowed "acceptable" consequences.

Nothing to worry about,
China has been dumping their bullsh** parts and pieces in the U.S for a few decades...
They didn't "dump" it here. We willingly and happily bought it. And still do.

Just sayin'

They could care less how many of their citizen slaves it takes out and they could control the narrative. Much worse for them if it does major damage somewhere else where they can't sweep it under the rug.

In the American Space program, the astronauts drink Tang while in space. In the Chinese space program, the astronauts are named Tang.
