Clay pigeon thrower suggestions

Really depends on what you are looking for. But a good place to start would be Craigslist or FB market place. From $25 and up depending on what kind you are interested in.

Just found this, which is what somebody brought to our camping trip a couple of weeks ago. Forgot that a snapped a pic of it. I know nothing about the brand, but it worked well all weekend. Just wondering if this is worth the money or if there's something out there better for the same money.

Am sure others who actually have one can chime in. I can only say where you might want to look. But if you saw it in action and it worked all weekend it might be a good one to keep in mind. look at the reviews on it to see any bad trends.

Or a simple hand thrower works just as good.

since CL was mentioned,
here is an example of what
has been posted. check your

I use one made by Do all outdoors. Got it well used a long time ago. Seems heavy duty and durable. If I needed another one, I’d look for a used do-all

This one is real good. $160

CFF member Donnie D modifed his to do rabbits.

I have a champion wheely bird which I think is the same as the work horse but with wheels. It has been an excellent machine over the last year with 1200 or more clays thrown. We purchased the remote and it allows us to throw crossing targets as well as straight away targets. The machine is pretty fast also, we’ve gone thru a box of clays in about 15 minutes at a moderate pace. If your shooting solo the auto throwers are the way to go. I also have a do all manual thrower. It’s very versatile for different presentations like rabbits but is much slower and really needs someone operating it while someone else shoots. It’s been going strong for almost 20 years now.

I have one of those too. Picked it up at a Walmart clearance for under $100. Been real pleased with it.

IMO, A buddy, or even better, 2 buddies with hand tossers is a much better and more fun option. Those clay tossing contraptions throw them in the same spot every time and unless you move it, it is boringly predictable.
