CMMG 5.7 magazine issues

I recently purchased a cmmg 5.7 that takes proprietary AR mags. I normally like to keep a load out of mags ready to rock and roll. Well fast forward a few weeks where I open my bag to find the mags had threw up my ammo. The gun ended up being removed from HD duty and back to the safe.

I contacted CMMG and they told me they have an updated mag coming out because of this issue and they would update the 9 I have free of charge.

Interesting! Ive got 5 or 6 and haven’t had this issue, at least with the couple I keep loaded. You received a replacement for just one or all 9 at this point? Did you email or call them?

Well. That's a hell of an "updated" mag. Sounds like they made it right immediately. So that's a plus

All 9 of them were replaced. The new magazine only holds 32 versus the previous 40. If I can't stop whatever I'm shooting at with 32 I doubt having 40 would make the difference.

I emailed customer service and told them I had an issue with the mags shooting out ammo. It only 2 of the 9 mags but they opted to replace them all since I bought them in 3 packs at the same time. They didnt ask me to send these back either so I have a bag of range mags
