Any recommendations for coated bullet brands? I have revolvers and lever action rifles for .357 and 45 Colt. Thanks in advance.

Just be aware that the SWC profile may get wonky feeding in the lever gun.
I think they sell .358 with no crimp groove.
That may be a better choice due to COAL requirements in the lever gun.

38spl brass with a 120GR FP gives the 92 action problems sometimes.

Easier to compensate for with no crimp groove...but, gotta be aware that bullet movement is real and you can easily cut through the coating.
In my experience, accuracy goes to pot if you over crimp a coated bullet.

Just a couple things to consider.

I have found SNS coated bullets to work extremely well and offer the best value for my money if I am loading 38/357-44spl/44Mag-45LC. The coatings are durable and consistently applied. The prices are quite reasonable.

If I am loading a completion or plinking bullet in 9mm or 40 SW, I will use the Blue Bullets. I like those guys, they are local, they ship extremely fast, their bullets are fairly prices and they make a damn fine bullet.

I've tried Bayou Bullets and while the weight of the bullets were consistent, the coating was crap or sloppily applied. Their prices are pretty good.

You shouldn't be roll crimping any coated or plated bullet, taper crimp only...

You can roll crimp coated bullets in the crimp grooves without issues. I do it all the time on coated .357s and .44s.

Good coated bullets can be smashed with a hammer without coating coming off.

Blue, SNS, and Gallant have all performed very well for me, there's discount codes out there as well.
I think Gallant added some revolver profiles when they merged with Leatherhead.

Blues are my favorite but they can sometimes have issues with barrels having very shallow rifling or over size groove diameters since they are spec diameter. The others are available oversize.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check into these suggested sources and others.
