Colt King Cobra Target 4.25”

I finally got my hands on a Colt King Cobra Target. I will be the first to say I am not a big wheel gun guy. I like them but magazine fed guns are more efficient for what I use them for. I have had a bug for the new King Cobra Target since I first saw it. I finally got my hands on one. I had to drive a couple hours each way but it was worth it. According to Colt, it is fired 6 times at the factory, well mine got another 24 rounds put through it today. It isn’t crazy accurate, but isn’t a slouch either. Truthfully it is far more accurate than the 2.5” Python I used to have. It’s trigger is very light (guessing 2-3#) and crisp in single action, the double action is 7-8#. All in all, I am happy with it.

Looked at the three inch model but it was nowhere near as nice as the target, so I didn't get it. congrats

Yeah, I was in the same boat. The 3” is nice but wasn’t for me. I really like the 4.25” and would love a 6” model. What really surprised me was the balance. This pistol balances perfectly for me. If you get a chance, try one out or at least fondle one. The only negative I have with it is the small hammer spur.

I just picked up a KC target this weekend as well. I actually found it priced below msrp which was a first for me anyways so I grabbed it while I could. This is the first in my new quest of obtaining each one of the new Colt line of snakes.
