Wondering if anyone has one? I've had one for a while now and shoots great. Very quiet and accurate. More of a cool piece then a firearm for me.
Cerakoted it tank green. Was thinking about threading it and putting a can on it.

I bought one way back when I was just getting into guns. It ran like a top but the reviews on them weren't great and the polymer feed ramp kind of turned me off. I didn't keep it very long, kind of wish I had.

I've seen just one for sale in the 15 or so years since and was tempted. If I had other 45 ACP firearms I'd consider getting another. A cool gun for sure.

Heck yeah, 45ACP just begs to be suppressed.

The older models were all metal. And go for a good bit now. And the trigger is simple and easy to work on. The polymer stuff in the "new" model is junk.

Never heard of it but cool looking. Found some more info:

My buddy had one around the early 70s. It used M3 magzines with a change in the cut for the magazine release. It shot fine and looked cool. Didn't know they were still around.

They have a very interesting history going back to kits to make the M1 Carbine look like a Tommy Gun and open bolt carbines that used M3 bolts and magazines. There used to be a very informative website but I can't find it. The ones that use Thompson magazines have a derlin nylon feed ramp that will wear out. The ones that use the M3 mags are more desirable. The horrible trigger pull can be made somewhat better by lifting one of the trigger spring legs off like the Ruger Single Six. The weak point is the firing pin. Sometimes they break. Looks a lot like the firing pin on one of the old Colt pocket pistols. Mine hasn't broken so far, but I did buy a spare one the first time I saw one.
