I was looking for a 220v compressor to run my blast cabinet (it wants 9cfm at 90psi) and other air tools. I found a used 220v in Raleigh that I’ll likely grab later in Feb. However, after some reading it sounds like there are some new 110v compressors which make a lot of air. Those new 110v units are oiled and run a lot quieter than my old oil-less unit.

I know a 110v won’t make my cabinet super happy, but it’ll work. Has anyone tried one of the newer 110v units? Any feedback on their performance?

I am in a similar search. The garage mate from Ingersoll Rand has a 100% duty rating and is quiet. There is also a Quincy that does something like 7cfm. Is it enough to run a saw full bore? No, but I don't mind taking a break either for as little is it would be used.

Air volume is your friend when it comes to bead blasting.
Your second friend is a large tank.

My blast cabinet requires over 20cfm in order to not run out of air. I’d be surprised if a 120v compressor could keep up.
