copper plated vs lead 22lr for target shooting, what's better?

I've found that with rimfire guns it's best to shoot alot of different brands and styles to find what works best in your specific shooter. I've got some that prefer lighter ammo some like heavier. Some like plated some like plain lead. There is no single right answer

You will not find a true match grade copper coated .22LR round. Precision rimfire cartridges hold very tight tolerances on hardness and weight of the projectile, and the added copper coating serves only as another variable to control with no accuracy benefit.

Never thought of that! Thanks
