Daughter-in-law owns a cleaning business and picked up Covid from a client last Tuesday. She felt like crap from Friday till Monday but feeling better now.
Her husband (my son) and my grandson, were tested yesterday and they are both positive for Covid, with mild symptoms.
My son works for me, so I have likely been exposed.
I haven't been tested and have no symptoms.
Not sure how this "exposure" works...she was exposed last Tuesday, but no symptoms till Friday....son didn't have symptoms until yesterday (Tuesday). I worked side by side with my son last Wednesday and Thursday.

Well...like I told my nephew who was recently hospitalized with COVID:

COVID hits people one of three ways:

- They get it and never have any symptoms.
- They get it and have some flu-like symptoms for a short period of time.
- They get it and the hammer of God comes down on them.

Here's hoping it's one of the first two for you and your family.

In my experience 4-5 days from exposure to symptoms. The wife started feeling bad 5 days after my fever started. People I was in close proximity with the day I started feeling crummy never got sick (unvaxxed folks) and people I was around prior never got sick. Still have no idea where I got it, hadn't really been around anyone.

Start slamming vitamins, zinc and quercetin just in case. Glad to hear your family seem to be doing ok so far, if ya'll need anything reach out to us.

Zinc and vitamin c and d3 to be specific.

The gummy versions are a lot easier to swallow - literally.

I was exposed at work. Guy's girlfriend tested positive. He told the employer. Apparently they were not that worried about it. Worked with him for several days up through Wed. Thur he called out. Friday his positive test came back.

As soon as his girlfriend tested positive I stared doing the above. Can't say if it worked or not other than I never got sick. We don't spend a lot of time close together though. Probably 10 minutes or so unloading the first of the trailer then he starts dealing with product while I finish unloading. But I had the stuff around so it was a no brainer for me.

Thanks all.
The wife and I have been taking D3, C, Zinc, B, and I added magnesium, for nearly a year. I also just ordered Quercetin and Nigella Sativa (Black Seed Oil) which appears to have the same qualities of Ivermectin.
I have a 30 pill supply of Ivermectin on hand, and another 20, plus Hydroxychloroquine that should be here tomorrow.

None of my infected family members have been vaccinated, same goes for me and the queen.

My best to all effected.

I've been taking D3, and B1 since July per docs orders because of blood test results anyway. I get zinc from denture cream, LOL. So far so good!

Also jabbed and boosted. It hasn't hurt me, or my son.

As always, I say you do you, but either way if you feel symptomatic, please do us all a favor and get checked out. The otherwise healthy will likely get through it. Older folks and the immunocompromised maybe not so much. If you choose to mask, at least do it right. The nose hanging out is useless and looks moronic.

I think @RetiredUSNChief explained it best.

Prayers out for all the @Snal~ clan.

On a side note: if you get it, I'll come over and sweet talk the Ruger Collection for you, that's the least a CFFer could do.

Hope everyone stays well despite COVID. Both my grown kids had it, got the monoclonal antibody infusion, felt much improved after 4 days. COVID may not be as deadly as some media outlets advertise it to be but it is real and people can die from it.

Get tested and take care of yourself.

Got a weird metallic taste in my mouth at the moment and generally don't feel quite "right"
If you happen to drink from metal tumblers (Yeti/RTIC/Ozark Trail/etc), switch yo glass or plastic. That was one of the main symptoms my wife had, and the switch seemed to help.

Make sure you force yourself to eat if you end up having symptoms. I lost a lot of weight while I was sick and still haven’t put it back on (I had COVID between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2020). For me it was like an intense flu that lasted 6 or 7 days and then months of lingering fatigue. No real shortness of breath to speak of. I smoked at least one pack of cigs per day from about 2007-feb 2019 and I still vape and will have an occasional cigarette but never more than one in 24 hours. I was exposed from my girlfriend who got it from one of her clients and she was pretty much getting over her symptoms when I started having symptoms. I took one round of vitamins on the Friday I started feeling sick and they made me puke so I didn’t take anymore.

Look on the bright side your whole family will have natural immunity at least for a while after everyone is healthy and back to normal.

In total I've lost an aunt, father in law, friends father, and nearly lost my wife's childhood best friend. Get healthy and stay healthy. All of the fore mentioned people had comorbidities, but left us too soon.

Scary for Old Folks.......................................................one foot ahead...then the other.....maybe we won't fall over if we keep movin'.
I'll be 62 in February, but in good health. No health issues at all other than IBS, though I do love my cigars.....uh....and my beer.

Yer do'n good brother....I can't get socks to last more than a few weeks!
Guess it would help if I wore shoes.

I survived on three things for ~10 days:
1. Jello cups
2. Pudding cups
3. Grapes

I also found a bag of jolly ranchers to be the best thing to keep around.

Lost 26 pounds in <20 days.

Got me one of them nebulizer thingamabobs....they say that running hydrogen peroxide through one of those things also helps.
Mom, old country lady used to have us to hydrogen peroxide steam when we had a cold or flu.

I hope the OP and everyone else in this thread affected by this Fauci funded Chinese virus gets to feeling better soon and has a full recovery.
