Covid in Deer

Hopefully my processor and taxidermists are vaccinated against the “D”elta/eer variant.

Hmmm … if the idiots were really scared of C-19 in animals why not start with cattle, pigs, poultry and such that are direct food chains? In general the average person does not get within “social distance” of deer but they damn sure do with animals in our normal food chain.

This was Friday, I think maybe this is the same one.

I think it's hilarious the deer ran to catch up with y'all! Now I'm waiting for the pic of the deer and her dog buddy cuddled up together for an afternoon nap.

Looks like a great opportunity for affiliated government agencies to grab some of that covid slush fund money.

I was reading it and was like, "Okay. Looks like they are just looking into this, you know, to see if there's anything needs worrying about."

But when I read this...

USDA touches the lives of all Americans each day in so many positive ways. In the Biden-Harris Administration, USDA is transforming America’s food system with a greater focus on more resilient local and regional food production, fairer markets for all producers, ensuring access to safe, healthy and nutritious food in all communities, building new markets and streams of income for farmers and producers using climate smart food and forestry practices, making historic investments in infrastructure and clean energy capabilities in rural America, and committing to equity across the Department by removing systemic barriers and building a workforce more representative of America. ...I knew marlarkey was afoot.

Story in the paper today said the NC Zoo has vaccinated the apes, and wants to do the big cats and other mammals soon.

Sounds like idiots. I would say a third of the US households have pets. There is little doubt they know if cats and dogs are Super Spreaders (like Trump voters). Where is the pet vaccines? Do only deer who avoid humans test for covid but not lap dogs.
