Did you polish and hone the internals yourself or did you have someone do it for you? I've thought about doing it but haven't looked into very much.Carbon fiber threaded barrel. Polished and honed all internals.

That's impressive! I don't think I've ever worn out a barrel let alone 2. Do you shoot competition or just love practicing?I've had a few over the years. In the future I'll be switching over to Volquartsen exclusively. Already made the switch on my Open rifle.
The TacSol on top in the first picture was my main for a long time. No idea of the round count but well north of 100k. I wore out two barrels and I think somehow I've managed to kill the receiver. No matter what I do it won't run for me anymore. After all that service, I can't really complain.

I did it myself. It's a BX trigger pack. Just some 2000 grit paper, krokus cloth and oil. Knocked down and edges and made all contact points smooth as I could. Not hard. Just time.Did you polish and hone the internals yourself or did you have someone do it for you? I've thought about doing it but haven't looked into very much.

Nice! I love my bx trigger it's hard to beat for the price.I did it myself. It's a BX trigger pack. Just some 2000 grit paper, krokus cloth and oil. Knocked down and edges and made all contact points smooth as I could. Not hard. Just time.
Maybe adding something like a Houge Handall sleeve to the grip will help.View attachment 656215

This has a BX trigger group that was sent out to be worked by brimstone. It came back so light that I really don't think it's safe. I keep an extra factory trigger group with the gun in case other people want to give it a try.
I thought the delrin chassis would be cool but Ive had trouble finding an AR grip that works for me with this setup. I need a grip with a beaver tail to extend the reach for my trigger finger but they don't work with this chassis. Thinking about going back to something like a traditional hogue.
I'll be shooting this tomorrow in the NC State Rimfire Championship at DPRC. Polished internals , Volquartsen extractor , HI viz front and ghost ring rear sights.View attachment 656592
I’ve been eyeballing on for one of my chargers. A 6” Volquartzen barrel plus the suppressor would be slick I think.Anyone try out the Enoch Industries chassis? They look sweet. Contemplating one for my first 10/22 build.

It looks like it's defended a few gardens from a lot of varmints
It’s honestly one of the funnest rifles I own. I have “bigger and badder”, but dollar for dollar, best purchase I ever made.It looks like it's defended a few gardens from a lot of varmints
That's how I feel about pretty much all my 22lr.It’s honestly one of the funnest rifles I own. I have “bigger and badder”, but dollar for dollar, best purchase I ever made.
Never to late! That brn22 receiver is the same one I use, it's a shame they stopped making them they were a great deal. Love the triangle barrel by the way, I've never seen one like it!I know I’m late to the party but I built this one about a year ago. Mostly volquartsen with a Brn22 railed receiver and a custom triangle barrel.

Yeah, I'll dig it out once I get home. If you don't hear from me by 9ish drop me a pm to remind my senile self. It's nothing fancy, it's a cheap grip with rubber but it's comfy and I already whacked the beavertail off. Prematurely it turned out lol@NCLivingBrit I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Mind sending me a pic when you get a chance?
Depends on how you shoot it. Is it a bench gun, or are you shooting steel challenge or what?Been thinking about swapping out this stock for a chassis like the Grey Birch. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Most everything is Kidd now.

This turd is constantly evolving. I want to run it in a rimfire competition but recently it just hasn't been that reliable. I swapped the bolt with another one I had lying around that's got the volquartsen firing pin and extractor. Went and fired a hundred rounds without a failure. Hopefully it's good to go now.
The vortex prism was swapped for a Burris fastfire2. Installed a ghetto home job pencil barrel and a different grip. The grip is better than the bcm for this application but it still doesn't fit me quite right. I've got another on the way to try out. Also ordered a 1/2 inch tall mount for the fastfire2.
These 10/22's make me.feel like I just can't stop sometimes 😁
