Pretty happy with mine. 16" threaded.
Notes:
Ended up getting the largest bell diameter scope I could find (42mm) that could still use the lowest Warne direct-mount rings, did not add a Pic rail.
Swapped out the trigger for a flat Timney and adjusted it to 10 ozs.
Changed the bolt knob to an Area 419 fluted one.
Added a 3" or so US made generic compensator, mostly for aesthetics and to help steady the 457 in the safe, as the cradles are sized for longer rifles.
Tried to buy a 10 round magazine, but, the three I bought were all defective, so now I just have 5 rounders which work perfectly. Still looking.
Have a short Pic rail under the forearm to attach the bipod, when I use one, and then a nice Protektor Model front rest the rest of the time.
Have a good sling for it, Appleseed recommended type, but only used it once so far as I am not yet that proficient with the bolt action in slung stances.
