My competition gun is a CZ 75 omega. Recently the gun has started doubling about once every hundred rounds. It doesnt go full auto just double taps. I'm running a 14 lb. Main spring with the CGW extended firing pin and a 13 lb recoil spring. I broke my first trigger return spring a month ago after this problem started. I replaced it with CGW trigger return spring. The gun is stock otherwise with no filing or polishing. It's probably had about 15k rounds through it.

I'm hoping one of the cz guru's here can point me in the right direction

What shape/condition I your sear and hammer hooks in?
That’s the first place I would look.
Generally ROs don’t like it when they do that.
A full auto 1911 is around 1200 rounds per minute.

Sear and hammer engagement seem solid. I can’t get it to replicate by pulling trigger and racking the slide or pushing or wiggling the hammer.

Thats a good sign...but on the face of it, Im inclined to agree with pf. Rip it apart and look for a small nick on your sear or a slightly rounded edge on the hammer hooks.
99% sure if it's mechanical, your problem lies in one of those two spots. If I had it in hand I could do better on alalysis, but alas...

Any chance of poor trigger control? I have doubled while trying to get fast follow up shots. I think i was trying to get some tension on the trigger to deal with creep and take up......and i did it too early. This was with a striker fires pistol though...

Possible but unlikely. I’ve been shooting CZ’s for 5 years and never doubled one until now. I’m also not that fast on the trigger

Ok I took it completely apart. Hammer and sear have good contact. Could it be a worn out sear spring not pushing up hard enough to get good sear engagement?

Not that I can tell. I don't have a new one to compare to but edges look and feel sharp.
Post a pic...a good one. I have several stock hammers laying around and I'll try to compare them. If thats truly not it, next place we look is trigger bar and disconnector
As an aside, I read your OP but just want to verify: your trigger does not have an overtravel screw, correct?
If not, the following is just as an fyi...if OT screws are set too close to the break point, they can do exactly what you describe. It only happens inyermittently because a couple of other factors must line up too, but back out the OT screw 1/4 - 1/2 turn and you should be good.

I’ll try to get a good picture tonight when I get home. I have a p-07 and just looking at the hammer and sear on that with out disassembling I can’t notice any difference aside from finish wear since the p-07 is fairly new.

Stock trigger so no over travel screw.
