Anyone seen one in person? Got the itch for a Subgun style "Pistol" and this one caught my eye as a good size for a smallish backpack.

Yeah that'd be cool. I love the look but it seems to be out of stock everywhere I look so it makes me think maybe they've never started shipping

No telling. Doesn't seem to be much info out there... CZ site says in stock but you can't buy from them... I thought they were coming out last summer.
 
They just announced at SHOT that they shipped the first batch and will continue to ship them as fast as they can make them.

People have been building their own Scorpion K's for years now but it is of course nice to get it in factory form.

I have heard that too. I just have so many glock mags interchangeablility would be awesome. I don't understand why more companies don't utilize existing quality magazines in lieu of developing a new one for everything. Of course for a company like CZ it would make sense to use their pistol mags...

Oh I get it . I had a Ruger Pc40 back in the day and only sold it after being unable to get the matching pistol for a sance price. Which I instantly regretted. I just wish the new one came in a non takedown version.

I remember... I may know the guy you bought it from... ;) I sold the pistol to tanstaafl the day before I believe...
 
Keep in mind I use a CZ Scorpion Evo Pistol as a BUG to my Glock 19 for the self defense role.

I do not have a micro but a standard Scorpion. I am not a fan of a collapsible stock/brace on any firearm a metal wire cheekweld does not float my boat, nor does the vertical play in all of them from a AK to a MP5. I do have a SB Tactical folder on mine. I think the micro has one issue with its design. The barrel length is good, the handguard length is bad. Too short for a white light mount without some CRAZY rework to standard mounts found for a AR.

If it has a 7" handguard with its 4.4" barrel that's cool, you can recess the suppressor inside the handguard. As to a too short barrel, that's also a side issue related to the handguard. Its 9mm, so anything over 3" is good for barrel length. I run the standard 7" and love the performance from standard 9mm pistol self defense rounds.

I have some stuff coming up real soon you will want to get a PDW for ;)

To reinforce my concern of the micro being too short. Notice how little room me a my friend have for hand placement with a standard Scorpion.



Not complaining, I love that gun, its just tight with a TLR-1 light. A micro would be real short.

My next investment in my Scorp will be suppressed. I want a 7-9" hand guard 4" barrel and the suppressor recessed in the handguard. The one shown is the integrated suppressed and I think its the best option.

Yeah I really like the looks of the micro with that faux osprey. I had thought about getting a real osprey for it in the future.
 
@Zbizzle911 the GHM9 is a no go fir me. The frame is to long for the caliber. For me, to much body behind the pistol grip.

What i want is a MP7 style that the magizine goes in the pistol grip chambered in 5.7x28.
 
So other than grip, safety and trigger what needs upgrading on the evo?

I don’t like the grip angle. So that for sure will get changed out. Figured I’d do the safety while I was at it.
