I might sell the Tikka T1X, and take that cash towards pushing the CZ farther with MDT and Lilja….

Lilja or Bartlein are the top 2 probably for CZs, then LW next step down?
that 5 shot group I had using SK has me hooked on this gun, I'm somewhere between just keeping as a production class, and doing a pillar bead to the stock and then getting an arca and upgraded bipod system for it, or going full on custom.

Never shot in a match before, so keeping to production is an idea to keep me centered.
 
Unfortunately, Lilja barrels for CZ 457's have not been available for a while. My CZ MTR performs almost as well as a Lilja. Those are hard to find, as well.
 
Apparently they are now taking orders for the .900 x 21 barrels for the 457 22 lr.
 
Lilja had some in stock last week. I ordered one and it shipped out the next day. Should have it this week decided to build up my 457 Varmint with KRG Bravo stock, Lilja barrel, and Timney trigger. Looking forward to putting it together and testing it next week.

The Area 419 Lilja barrel lists prefit with .045 headspace. You made need bolt shims to tighten it up. Lilja direct barrels come with barrel shims to set your own headspace on the barrel when you install it. Either way they are great barrels.
 
When I ordered my drop in Lilja barrel from Bullet Central it came with the Lilja shims. Not sure if Area 419 does or not. Lilja will sell you just a shim set but they are expensive.

Trigger Shims may have them for a better price. They do have bolt and barrel shims for the CZ 457. If it is set at .045, I think a barrel shim will increase the headspace. I set mine at .042, so it may need .003 bolt shim to close the gap. I would measure first, since it may be fine without any shims.
 
I have mine set at .043. Tried .045 but went back to .043. Seems to be working well so far. The new one, incoming in a few days, I will measure and again shoot for .043 as a starting point.
