When we bought our farm it came with several out buildings, one of them was always referred to as a "potting shed". I used to have a work bench in it but don't use it any more. It's blocking the view from the kitchen window and the boss wants it gone. It's on a stone wall foundation of sorts with a concrete slab floor. If anyone wants it you are welcome to it if you can figure out how to disconnect it from the foundation/slab and get it on a flatbed.
Assuming that's not the case I'd like some advice please on the best way to tear it down. Start knocking off siding and then a few vertical studs until it goes a little wobbly and then attach a rope/chain to the 4x4? I've never done this type of thing before and am a little concerned about dropping the roof on myself while swinging the sledge lol. Once it's on the ground I will dismember it with a sledge hammer and haul loads to the dump in my trailer.
A little background: One of the previous owners bought this farm and restored the farmhouse and another little house that used to be a corn crib. In the meantime they lived in the barn with no plumbing. They had an outdoor shower off the little house, and it appears they had a compost toilet in the side room of this shed. It also has an attic., never been up there but got a pic with my phone and the hoped for millions of forgotten drug money was nowhere to be seen.
Please have a look at the pics below and give me your best guestimate as to tactics and please excuse the pile of crap in the yard that used to be inside. Also, if anyone wants a good workout I'll supply the beer, lol. I got 2 sledges
